We also ended up lynching the blessed Seer. I think that was Rendap, actually.

I did alright in that game until the very end. We were close enough to victory that I got too far ahead of myself, and it cost us. Plus I should have trusted Kingepyon more.

Nope - It wasn't me. I've never been the seer in Big or Lite. But I can see the good times in it.

I'll be in the CompyCorner munching popcorn while enjoying the show here.... :)

Votecount will come after work (4-5'ish GMT) - Any before that will have to be done by yourself!

You've genuinely been a wolf most of the games since you declared you'd play like a wolf, come to think of it...

Actually, one time I was a cultist ..

I think this is only his third game he's acted like that, and he's been a wolf for 1 and a villager for 1.

Meh. That game as a villager doesn't really count, since I disappeared on you guys not that long after the game started ..

I'd say more, but I really have to watch not blowing my cover. Can't have you guys figuring out I'm evil again, now can I? :D

Must have been Syber_sid. He has a similar (the same?) avatar.

Just a heads up to all that I will be (genuinely) absent from just after the next deadline, through the next deadline, until just before the deadline after. That should still allow me to get a vote in every day, but apart from the small window right now where I'm going to start looking through the thread, it won't leave me much time.

randakar's going to become the safe haven for voters who don't want to reveal anything, isn't he? Much like tamius in the game we were discussing, Budget Crunch.

I would say that he needs encouragement to become an asset for the village once more instead of deadweight. We all know he is one smart player but currently he is pretty much useless that way.

And two votes so far do not make a safe haven.

Quoting PMs is allowed right?

Good.

snoopdogg's wolf hunting instincts are pretty good, we should...

Vote Kiwiwolf.

Oh.

Vote Ese

Just cuz

Just cause?

vote esemesas

I'm just going to go with "DIE, SCUM!".

Why the band wagon?

Vote Yakman

Again, why? And has anyone seen anything of theFreeman since?

that is probably the worst post i have seen in this thread ever.

I'm starting to get a feel for Yakman, and this behaviour seems in keeping.

Just so it's clear my vote on Yakman was intentionally a mock-vote that was invalid. Killing a returnee on his first game back is not something I want to do. Killing j-L however, I'm up for that anytime.

Good to know. Bonus points for Vainglory.

Vote Snoopdogg

I like lynching people who like bandwagons.

I was originally going to query that vote of snoopdogg's too. However, tamius' comment lacks context. snoopdogg's vote was near the end of the day, and obviously meant to put it out of reach of a tie. His vote was not really a problem, and I don't see much reason behind the actual bandwagon on snoop later.

Vote Kiwiwolf.
He won't escape on my watch.

Oh my, well that's just the end of me. snoopdogg wolf telling me twice? Actually, he didn't say the magic "t" word. I might be safe...

Vote vainglory

Why? Talk is good, even early. Of course, bringing in new candidates for the sake of it is fine this early.

Vote Slinky

Throwaways are very suspicous

Not strictly speaking a throw away, but you can still do better than make an unexplained vote, even this early.

Boris has a point.

vote Slinky

Slinky run up doesn't seem too suspicious to me. It's not a bad reason to vote someone, and it's not too fast.

I, good sir, could use an AOK style switch right now. May I propose Kingepyon the non-voter?

Unvote walrus/marty
Vote Kingepyon

Why Kingepyon for non-voting? There were other options, including myself, and I alread had a couple of votes. If I didn't know we weren't packmates, I'd find that suspicious. Of course, esemesas is a dead villaer, so I'd be wrong.

Blatant bandwagoning anybody?

Yes...

Right, because there was soooooo much information to go on and sooooooo many people had voted already.

A first vote for someone =/= throwaway vote

True, but you'd save yourself trouble if you at least say something. And the way you avoided the noose didn't do you too many favours, so you're probably a good scan target.

Right, I caught up. Slinky, despite the fact you're voting for me, I agree that the first vote for someone isn't a throwaway, even if you leave it there all day. However if players don't move their vote all day when they've clearly been online, after leaders have formed up, it reverts to being a throwaway. This does leave a loophole where players can whack in a vote and just not return to the forum to get away with it, but that's fair enough. Sometimes, particularly early in a game, if a player's busy that's legit. Later on when people need to pay attention they should sub if you can't be here.

However, whacking a vote on someone first up without any reason given is basically a throwaway. There aren't enough Dutchmen out there to get me lynched without providing at least some reason (at least, not this time: in Johho's last game there were enough Dutchmen to raid the Medway successfully). So my vote is staying where it is.

As for the "voting the one who was saved" or "voting the savior" argument... by all means lynch either of them, because the odds are they're both villagers, and then I'll be vindicated for the Lite.

Also, what he said.

Gah, forgot to vote.

Vote snoopdogg

Like, totally not a revenge vote...

Hm, not a good look there. Still, I think I made up for it when I realised I had time, but not by much. Must improve.

BANDWAGON!

Ok, now I'm beginning to change my mind about Yakman. Yakman-Slinky anyone?

Marty suggested switching, but then didn't. I won't forget this in the future.

Another odd vote, but then he's proven innocent later I believe. Just as well, I'd have looked silly chasing him.

And this might explain the choice of snoopdogg over Slinky. Why vote someone who can protect themself?

What was that about? Swapping just before deadline from one person of no consequence to another? Trying to make your voting record look good maybe?

Vote esemesas because he's a convenient throwaway!!!

*sigh*

He's dead.

Rival down :) :) :)

This explains quite a lot about tamius actually. I'm going to go ahead and call him a terrible lynch, and in urgent need of a) protection and b) scanning to form a JL around. Almost certainly a rival villager.

I would say that he needs encouragement to become an asset for the village once more instead of deadweight. We all know he is one smart player but currently he is pretty much useless that way.

And two votes so far do not make a safe haven.

True. I do my best to fill in for him, but it would be nice to have him back to his old ways :)

Vote reis91

Admittedly I'm pretty worn out right now, but I see no reason for his last minute hdk -> Kingepyon switch. Someone please tell me if I missed something.

Also: I think tamius is a terrible lynch, and a great person to start a JL around. Probable rival villager.

Why? Talk is good, even early. Of course, bringing in new candidates for the sake of it is fine this early.
It seems a lot of people are really curious as to why I voted Vainglory. I voted him, because I was about to go to sleep and realised that I might not make it back in time before deadline to do another vote. So I checked the random generator and it choose Vainglory. There is no grand plan or reasoning behind it. It turned out I got back in time to check the forum for ten minutes and that's when I made my second post. Luckily I was able to be online half an hour before deadline and save myself. Overall it was just a busy day for me yesterday.

But why not simply say so? You know how people in Werewolf are...

Because it was two hours after midnight and I was tired. :p

So why didn't you simply say that? :p

No, saying you're too tired to explain would probably be worse to be fair. I can understand the vote on Vain, just as I can understand the reaction on you. That doesn't mean that we can't find something interesting in the way people picked snoop over you, but it's too early to go in all guns blazing on it. I'd like to see some new people run up while we're enjoying an outing free period to build information in :)

So he was. I scanned him, and good times were had by all. Except Randy.

That's because you went about it the wrong way, you bum. You do it like this:

Guys, I'm a witness. How long should I wait before using my powers?

I have reliable information that declaring you are a witness means you win with the baddies.

True. I do my best to fill in for him, but it would be nice to have him back to his old ways :)

For my own sanity I must persist for a while longer. Putting in the amount of effort that it takes to do posts like yours just now, just to get hit by the double-whammy of being hunted as an obvious goodie or lynched as an obvious waffle as a baddie .. no thanks.

However, the sentiment is appreciated.

And seeing how my throwaway appears to have turned into a non-throwaway somehow, I'll have to rectify that problem.
(No, really! I'm not throwing anyone a bone, damnit!)

Still, a little early in the day for the others...

Thats a blatant lie and any village that follows it WILL regret it. DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM.

Boris IS NOT a representative of the Justice League, and I know this as I am a member of it.

Therefore Boris has likely been duped by a Cultist or a wolf into lynching me, thinking he was told this by the Seer. He will be hunted tonight by his would-be decievers, most likely. OR, he is a wolf, who is willingly sacrificing himself to kill an important part of the Justice League. Think about.

Outing is False.
