We only have two wolves left. That's a really weird mistake to make.
Yeah, somehow I forgot Spock turned up bad. The point stands that if do not know anyone else's roles then in this case as many as 2/3s of people voting you could be wolves, and that therefore ascribed wisdom just based on the number of votes is clearly flawed.

Hazbot didn't make a case though, he just bandwagoned with some BS reason. But the fact that three people are voting for me does mean that I can't just go around and start saying that aedan (who started the case on me) is "presenting an abundance of poor cases" just because he's voting for a villager.
This is going to be partially directed at you, partially in general.

There are leagues of difference between a case being good or bad and a case being right or wrong. For example, the case on Myoon was good, he had been acting suspicious and refused to defend himself despite having three days to do so. However the case was wrong because he was a villager. If a villager acts like a wolf then a case can be good yet wrong. A player pursuing a good, yet wrong, case is not suspicious, even though they lynch a villager.

Your case on Lemeard was poor and K-59 and I pointed out why, giving explanations for why Lemeard was not the best lynch that day. You have said that your case was good because people followed it, but lets look at who followed it- Myoon, who is brand new and certainly not a source on good cases; Spockyt, known wolf; Hazbot, someone you're currently saying is a likely wolf; and Jacksonian, who only switched because he wanted to avoid a tie, even though he prefered Myoon as a candidate. So having that group backing up your case is hardly the making of a solid case.

Today you have spent a lot of time casting suspicion around, without being overly bothered at actually finding wolves. In general you've waited until late in the day to cast your vote. All of these are wolf signs, which alone might be explainable, but as they add up, you become a better and better candidate.

Velasco fits really well with Marshall, and I'm half tempted to try and tie them today, even though we've already used our free tie.

Okay, that's admittedly true, although we rarely see packs focus down one player early in the game - which is when I made my case on Lemeard and you, the only cases for which I'll admit they may have been bad in hindsight.

I wholly agree with that.

I must admit that I hadn't gone back to see who exactly were voting Lemeard with me there, but I still think that my case then, with the information we had then, wasn't all that bad. You were at that point also considering Lemeard or k-59 as part of the TIE, so I hope you can see it wouldn't have been a stretch to think them wolf candidates. What I absolutely haven't done is present "an abundance of poor cases", the reason why Hazbot is currently piling on me.

I'm also not spending today casting suspicion around. You really savagely misinterpreted my first post today, and other than that I've been busy defending myself (and wondering what the hell Hazbot is on about). Admittedly I haven't been able to do much analysis either, but that's partially because I think the case on Velasco is just fine (why would I fit into a pack with him again?) and partially because my experience with the last two games in which I was lynched as a villager was that forcibly making a case while I'm being run up only makes people even more suspicious. So I won't. Velasco is a fine target.

You really savagely misinterpreted my first post today,
No he didn't. You basically said "Man Aedan is suspicious, so suspicious I can hardly believe he would be this suspicious."

"Too out in the open" does not mean "so suspicious I can hardly believe he would be this suspicious". It means the opposite of "covert".

Wolves are generally covert. Villagers are generally out in the open.

EDIT: At any rate it would be stupid to extrapolate one misinterpreted post into "casting suspicion all day" into "he's a wolf".

Well, I guess I can open by saying I'm not a wolf, and follow by trying some kind of analysis. Honestly I'm completely stumped and haven't much of a clue. It just feels like one big dead end. This game seems to plod along with people getting lynched on fairly random hunches and flimsy grounds, and nothing seems to be going anywhere. The vote switches and the minucious analysis of who switched over to who feels like a dead end. I guess perhaps that makes me not much of an asset to the village and worthy of a lynch, but eh. "I would never be in a pack with him!", "so-and-so was quiet before deadline!", "you were the fourth vote to the vote switch on what was ultimately a villager"...all seems meaningless. Without any powers there's nothing for anyone to do but await for death to come.

So...circling back to my vote on Latin Kaiser, do I think he's a wolf? I haven't a clue, but ?statistically if I'm good and he's gunning for me, there's a better chance than otherwise he's a baddie. Euro seemed very suspicious to me, as if he was trying to bait the seer or Justice League into speaking or something, (if I've got my chronology right) hot on the heels of Hazbot getting hunted for doing that. Then there's Gen Marshall doing the mostest above, but maybe he just wants the game to be active and to show service before the village, so to speak. I dunno. I'd counsel not pushing another tie but I don't have much of an attack to make against anyone (and tbh, doesn't seem like any of you have either) and I don't have much of a defence either.

It wasn't just that post. You would later vote Velasco, but in the same post say you'd rather lynch Hazbot. And your discussion with K-59 has had you making small gestures to put suspicion on K-59 and I. Hence "casting suspicion all day".

The only suspicion I've knowingly cast is on Hazbot.

I won't be on at deadline, but honestly, I think I've made the best defence I can. If you're not impressed, go ahead and vote for me. As it stands my only hope is the seer doing his job...

I'm going to be entirely honest, I'm starting to feel like my vote was a mistake. I wanted to write back why I felt you were the best vote but the more I pondered over it the more I am starting to doubt my previous judgement. Maybe I had reasons for it then that I forget now, but I am not willing to stand behind reasons I don't remember,

UNVOTE GEN MARSHALL

On the matter of whom to vote for next, EURO seems to believe that k-59 is a blatant wolf, and I am tending towards agreement, k-59 has attacked everyone and their mothers, picking apart things that I would think are much more likely minor details than true reasons, so tentatively...

VOTE K-59

Count?

Can't be killing the seer, you guys.

Unvote K-59
Vote Marshall

Deadline.

When you advertise it this late you actually only can move it if everybody votes before deadline and understands it is moved.
You are wrong. Both in this particular instance and as a person.

Deadlines for votes and hunts is 22:00 GMT

FOR THIS DAY ONLY, DEADLINE HAS BEEN PUSHED FORWARD TO 23:00 GMT (ONE HOUR AHEAD). ALL SUCCEEDING DEADLINES WILL BE THE SAME. AGAIN, TODAY'S DEADLINE WILL BE 23:00 GMT, ONE HOUR AHEAD OF THE NORMAL DEADLINE. MY APOLOGIES FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
Wait what????

Marshall 3
Velasco 2
K-59 1
LatinKaiser 1

Correct?

DAY FIVE

Marshall the Sectoid is lynched by the aliens.

EURO the Sectoid is hunted in the night

I still think that Velasco is the most likely wolf.

Vote Velasco
