anyhow, the obvious wolf @Wagonlitz saving obvious wolf @Audren is obvious.

but is that just clueless villagers being clueless?

lynch one, it might reveal the identity of the other. in any event... I'd like to flip the script and go after a near-zombie at this time, although i'll almost certainly check in an a few hours and see where we are going.

The deadline's not good for me, I'm only available really in the hours immediately after. I do want to say though I've posted plenty after deadline.

shoot. i was going to check in again.

Thank you, Wagon. By my reckoning, the count is accurate.

Twas quite the bad year for the restored Byzantine Empire. After ruthlessly slaughtering some revolutionaries, they came across their most terrifying sight yet: the great empire of Ulm. Despite being only one province, the player knew that this would be a battle that would truly test his skills. Johan help him.

k-59 the Helpful Comet (Villager) was lynched.

K, surprised I'm alive, wolves really screwed up there. Hunting luft? How stupid are you?

How about we actually lynch one of the obvious wolves, Audren, Jeray, and Wagon for a change, rather than the increasingly poor cases on random villagers?

the "obvious wolf" who's yet to have a reasonable case made against him. Was I meant to not save myself?

Since today is the last day before parity, we absolutely have to catch a wolf. so it's time for a colored votecount to find the likely last wolf besides the obvious wolves of Audren, wagon, and Jeray.

Ok, so what can we conclude from this? Of surviving players, Voyager, Alynkio, and Jacksonian have made dangerous votes on Audren, so somewhat unlikely wolves for that. Yakman also voted a wolf on day 3, Jeray, so he might be an unlikely wolf, but it was pretty much a throwawy vote, and Yakman is anything but predictable, so it's a null really. Main candidates for the final wolf are Health and alxeu as I see it though. Spockyt didn't vote day 1 before being subbed by alxeu, Health put a vote throwaway on spockyt day 1, and since both have voted lockstep with wolf interests, voting the villager candidate who ended up being lynched. Of course only one of them can possibly be a wolf, so the other is just accidently helping the wolves. Not sure which yet.

Main focus should obviously remain with lynching obvious wolves Wagon, Audren, and Jeray, but we should keep in mind possibilities for the last wolf.

Audren is fine, can we tie him with Wagonlitz? Wagon now has broken 2 ties at the deadline that killed villagers and he showed up and pussyfooted around at the deadline without actually doing anything productive, I think all these deadline shenanigans point to a wolf Wagon.

I agree, but problem is we don't have the space to use a tie. Mislynch today and we reach parity. If the villagers try to set up a tie, the four wolves can snipe to someone else and win. So the village has to have unanimity. Audren and Wagon are both obvious wolves, so I'm indifferent to which we lynch first.

Would you mind presenting a case on me Aedan? I'd love to know why I'm an obvious wolf.

Thought I'd be able to check in at lunch, but sadly work was miserable and this was not the case... So... I come home only to learn that I almost died! Yikes! I didn't have a chance to save myself, so... thanks for not lynching me, village! If there's a JL, they're sure being secretive, possibly for the best. I'll make a real post with a vote soon.

This is surely an interesting game.

Well... it would seem I am presented with the choice between a bloc of voters that seems to think I should be strung up and a bloc of voters inclined to spare me. I feel like I'm jumping on someone else's bandwagon, but the impulse of self-preservation is a fairly powerful motivator.

I'm fully ready to accept Wagon and Audren as Wolves. Jeray is less obvious, but certainly possible. As parity is approaching, we can sate our hunger with the low hanging fruit. Seer, if you haven't already, I would advise scanning Jeray.

I don't know about Wagon, guys... As far as I can tell, he's acting like he normally does in these here games of the Werewolf. While I'm sure that doesn't exclude him, it also doesn't make him obviously a wolf. Also, I don't really like the fact that people kinda piled onto him like that. Right now, I think we should be looking at someone who hasn't been looked at, like, at all. i.e. Alxeu. What has he done so far? Almost nothing. That's fairly suspicious in itself. I'm gonna go ahead and...

...partially to get the ball rolling on some sort of discussion, and partially because I really think he's up to something sinister.

Since you're potentially a villager, I'll explain to you why Wagon is a certain wolf.

First, we have Wagonlitz opposing the run up on you day 1. While you're likely to think well of that, I contest that it was an out of character move for Wagon to do that. You had just voted yourself, in a manner that clearly indicated you planned to switch off. Taking this into account, Wagon had to have known his vote on Capibara would put him in a tie with you if you wanted to switch. Considering the likelihood you would do so (high), Wagon should have known he was setting up a potential tie, on day 1 between basically random candidates. A somewhat suspicious move.

Second, we have Wagonlitz explicitly breaking a tie on day 2 between Audren and Rovsea, despite at the very same time claiming that Audren was the better lynch candidate. This is a massive red flag, since Wagon very well knows that we have a free tie. Simply because day 3 is "tie day", does not mean it is the only day in which a tie is acceptable. Ties on day 2 can easily be justified. And if the options are "lynch one poor candidate" or "lynch a poor candidate and a good candidate" on a day with a free tie available, the latter should be picked every time. Wagon should know this, yet he's claiming that it was better to kill a more likely villager, and then ignore the candidate he admitted had a good case against him.

The only logical conclusion that can be drawn is that Wagonlitz and Audren are packmates. Look at how much they're supporting each other where it counts. Look at how often they're together on major candidates in the voting. The wolves are running this game practically in the open, and the village more or less let them get away with it yesterday.

Today we reach parity if a villager is lynched, and what do you think the wolves want? To lynch a villager. Any villager. They don't care which. So with the way the village has been wandering like a headless chicken, the wolves might think they don't need to make a serious case on a player, and will just sit back and go after the easiest villager candidate. Despite posting in the thread, and casting doubt on my arguments, who have Audren, Jeray, and Wagonlitz put forward as a candidate? No one. Because they're wolves who have gotten complacent.

It's really obvious if you think about it.

Potential villagers (@Yakman, @Health, @F72Voyager, @alxeu) today may be parity if a villager is lynched. There are four wolves, so if we don't have at least four votes on a candidate the wolves can snipe to victory. While we could afford a 4-4 tie (8 players survive day, 7 survive night, 4 villagers vs. 3 wolves next day), if even one vote is on a villager, then the wolves can snipe to said villager. The only way to be safe is to have the village vote a candidate in unanimity. We have less than twelve hours to deadline, so you need to get in action. If you want someone other than Wagon lynched, you need to provide a very compelling case (and hint, only Jeray or Audren would be acceptable alternatives to Wagon), and do so with significant time to deadline. Closer to deadline, the less possibility a switch could be done. So anyone who votes without reason, or tries to go against the main village candidate in the time shortly before deadline is helping the wolves.

And how is me breaking two ties suspicious? You know well that I'm quite anti TIE in lites.
