Yeah, it was me trying to convince others that Citizen was a wolf, but I tried so hard I started to believe myself he was a wolf, and thus send him the PM.I send a similar PM to Sander.

What I do to prevent that is to keep a text-file handy (and visibly when I'm at home doing WW) with on top the known roles. And then I go through the thread, try to pick out what I want to bring the attention to with the eyes of a villager. Try to build cases against those who behave themselves suspicious (even though I know they're not wolves, it is what you can make the village believe).

That's one great tip for WW. Anymore tips Captain?

I'll share them with you saturday. I won't tell everyone here how I work, or I'll be too easy to read.

Oh and one more thing. Korona did pretty well and from the rules point of view I'm happy that he deleted very quickly his "sub" post after he had been subbed out already. Shows commendable understanding of ghost rules to delete it independently (though of course it'd been better not to post it in the first place :p) before anybody could PM him about it.

It doesn't. Even if I were a villager, I will not give any info if you wanted to sub. I would ask anyway.
But I wanted to know if I did pull it off, "freely" talking to you about the game while not giving anything away. Apparently I did :)

Don't be too sure about that. :p

Sander won.

And that one was pretty bloody obvious, too. :p

Thanks to Euro, Randy, Skobelev and aziz for your support. And to everyone else for being patient and putting up with this.

You're welcome. :)

This village didn't really deserved to win, and if it weren't for DutchGuy and the deadline we would have won with 3 wolves.

That we did not.
Congrats on a game well played. :)

So you voted Najs, so you could prove him wrong. Not because he would be a wolf? Get your shit together.

You will go far in this game. As I knew you would. :)

Yes. Can't just take your word for it though, can I?
Also, acting like you did during this last day didn't exactly make me any more inclined to believe you.

Everything about it was screaming "villager throwing a temper tantrum", Najs .. and seriously, why was him outing dutchguy in the thread not reason enough to clear him in the first place? In what version of the universe was that an even remotely plausible thing for a wolf to do?
Seriously, you should have been able to win this.

I think the single most surprising thing about this game, for me, is that DG's PM was actually legit. How is that even possible?

Never attribute to malice what can just as easily be attributed to incompetence... :)

 It's like a real-life Patho liar!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

The outing of DutchGuy came at a time when there was a tie between Korona and DutchGuy, with few minutes left until deadline. Both me and Rovsea were online at the time, surely several others. With DG being very weird, his death should have seemed plausible in that situation. To sell out a packmate in that situation, with the seer dead, makes sense. Especially if said packmate can be expected to die and hasn't been exceptionally useful. I highly disagree with you that it was implausible for a wolf to act that way. The PM was implausible.

And while that tantrum was interesting, you can't go changing your mind just because people start kicking and screaming. Sander played a good game, there wasn't much that made him a better lynch than Citizen.

Aw... Next time I won't try it again.

Yup, he did very well. It takes nerve to get to the very last day and then to even survive it as a wolf is quite the accomplishment. Not everyone can put that on his record-list.

A little bit of wisdom here: Is Citizen1oo1 a player who is capable of such a stunt? Has he done anything of the like before?
Hell no, he hasn't.

If it had been an EURO, or an AOK. 11, or a madchemist, or a marty - yes, they might do such a thing. In fact AOK. 11 once spend an entire day talking to me trying to convince me that he was a villager and that the JL spokesperson was evil. That was quite fun, I have to say. But you have to take into account who is doing the talking, not just what he's saying.

And while that tantrum was interesting, you can't go changing your mind just because people start kicking and screaming. Sander played a good game, there wasn't much that made him a better lynch than Citizen.

I have lost games with thinking like that. Behaviour is a tell, and an important one at that. If your gut tells you that somebody is acting like a villager, then he probably is.

Aw... Next time I won't try it again.

That might be wise. :)

Ah, now that Kaisersohaib is online:

Did you handpick the pack, or was it completely random?

Oh yeah, thanks Panzer for GMing this "interesting" game to say the least.

I hate that you're allowed to use the Imperial Japanese flag but not the swastika.

And I agree with Panzer.

You can use the Swastika. Just not in Germany.
