That I had been scanned and Tonka wasn't in the convo to give the impression that he was a unscanned spokesman.

I really don't understand the thinking behind this move.

"I think Euro or k-59 is the last wolf and has made me as the seer, let's tell them who the JL is to throw them off the trail!"
 
It really was bold play from tonka. It had many opportunities to go belly up. He's lucky it worked so well for him. I appreciate the audacity.

I just don't understand it. If I was a wolf and someone told me they were the seer and had scanned me as villager, I'm not going to hunt that guy.

Yeah thought that was the case. In that case it is beyond stupid, since if you were a villager you would think why would they out themselves to yet another unscanned villager making you suspicious of them. And if you were a wolf you would know they were lying as they couldn't have scanned you a villager meaning the seer wasn't the one contacting you. So the JL learns nothing knew as the contact isn't hunted. On the other hand the wolves can cross somebody off the seer suspect list.

I just wanted to see what they would do, specifically Euro as I was pretty sure K-59 was clear just because I was still alive. Also I was already in talks with Euro

And how would you ever be able to gain anything useful from that? As mentioned a wolf wouldn't hunt the seer claimant since he would know the claim was false. You would get the exact same result as if you had contacted a villager---except the wolf seer hunt list would be one man shorter.

I had no idea about the fake Justice League. Should have guessed, but oh well. Otherwise, yes I would have stayed. Thought it was down to Ironhide and myself, and didn't want to waste a day staring at a foregone conclusion.

Pro-tip - ALWAYS give a reason for why you are not the bad guy, other than "I didn't do it." It may not save you, but it will help you.

Why I surrendered. I was enough of an ass earlier this game to fellow forum members. Don't want to further poison the well.

Other notes:

1) I didn't control hunts until the madchemist hunt. I knew he wasn't the seer, but he's a very good analyst. Besides, forum fratricide is awesome, and how could I pass up that opportunity?
2) Tonka, you had me fooled regarding the existence of another person being seer until I hunted you. Should have been obvious with the changing stories, but oh well. That said, outing yourself to 2 people... smh - risky as heck.
3) This game was a lot of fun. I'll try and come back for more. Thanks for bearing with a newbie.
 
wombat why don't you sign up for the big? There is also more room for making mistakes due to a higher player count.

I knew both were online so how fast did they respond? Did they ask for a scan list? Did they give insight? Did they ask about me? We're they quiet and passive or dominant and controlling?

Wolves don't generally get contacted by the seer and told they are clear so they may mane mistakes they wouldn't generally just because of how odd the situation is. That isn't to say it was a smart move but it was a fun move.

Why would I have asked for the scan list, dummy. I was contacted after night 4. Jackson said he was the seer, he had just scanned me, Arky was in the convo, and there had been two outed wolves. THAT'S 4 SCANS, I KNEW THE SCAN LIST.

EDIT: I forgot that there would have been 5 scans, but most of my point stands.
