The Setting:
In the conservative village of Fairmill, "love" as we know it is unheard of. While not strictly forbidden, all marriages are arranged based on social and economical factors, agreed on by the parents, and forced on the children. Things have gone this way for centuries, and for centuries no one dared challenge local tradition... Till now.
As an anonymous declaration of love was written in the village square, announcing two young lovers' decision to get married by the end of the week despite their parents' disapproval, everyone showed support. At least, publicly. "Love is a noble thing and we all respect their decision", everyone said.
They get married and live happily ever after. Well, not yet, the week's just starting, but oh come on, that's what's gonna happen, right? What could go wrong?
Rules:
There shall be seventeen (17) players. Special Roles will be handed out after the last person signs up.
The game will then proceed to a Night deadline.
The game is divided into two periods - night and day. For practical reasons these two periods take place at the same time, from one update till the next.
Each day, all players gather and decide to lynch one of the players - the person they think is most likely to be a werewolf. Each night, the werewolves decide who to kill. In each 24 hour period, the village will lynch, and the werewolves will hunt. The villagers can try to lynch multiple people by creating a glorious, Lemeard-approved, TIE, and the werewolves can also decide not to hunt anyone at all at night.
Winning:
The werewolves and warlock win if they manage to reach parity with the villagers.(Warlock does count for parity)
The Villagers win if they manage to kill all the werewolves.(Warlock NOT counting)
Possible Player Roles:
Villager(Liberal): The simplest role, a villager knows nothing for sure, but can use the power of his vote to help lynch others.
Seer(Psychologist): Can scan one person each night to check to get their exact role.
Werewolf(Conservative): Believes that love is an unholy abomination and have set out to serve God's will by purging the infidels. Each night, the monsters hunt a player.
Recluse(Warlock): A loner, who wants to see love fail, he can block any other player from using a special role. If he chooses to block the seer or the guardian angel, they cannot scan / protect that night. He does not know the identity of the wolves at the start. His powers will not block the wolves from hunting (unless he blocks the last one standing), in case he accidentally targets one of them. - The recluse DOES count for parity, but cannot win alone.
Guardian Angel(St. Valentin): The defender of love. Each night, the guardian angel can choose to protect someone from a werewolf attack. He cannot protect the same person two nights in a row and he cannot protect himself.
Lovers: The two people who started it all. Should a lover die in an update, the other will die of broken heart in the next. The lovers here are a role and not a trait, a lover is always a goodie.
Possible Role Set-ups:These are the possible ways roles will be distributed. These are slightly different variations of the classic "Fall" set-ups. I will randomly select one set-up; each possibility has an equal chance of being chosen. Once the set-up is determined, it will stay that way throughout the entire game.
