Setting: In the idyllic meadows of Pardoxia, the forumites frolic happily among the flowers. The happiest and most beloved of the groups are the followers of the seer, who all follow a strange religion that commands them to play an odd game known as WW. The seer and his followers have lived in harmony for centuries, knowing nothing but peace and happiness. That is until one night. As the day broke a loud shout was heard through the meadows. Together the followers looked upon the seer's lifeless body and shouted, "Oh God, we lost the seer!" The followers of the seers ran around frantically unsure who the traitors in their midst were. Accusations began to fly and soon a very real game of WW had begun.

Rules:
There will be 16 players, no more, no less. Roles will be handed out once the 16th player signs up
The game will then proceed to a waiting period before the First Day.
NOTE: There is NO Night 0. The game begins with a day.

The Roles
The Seer: Super duper awesome guy who can find the wolves through magic. Also dead.
Friends(x3): Three cult members who know each other well and know that they can't be traitors. They will be told who the other friends are at the start of the game. Good guys who win with village
videonfan (Werewolves x3): The three people who have betrayed our glorious seer! May hunt one player each night. Win once they reach parity.
Followers(Villagers x10): Followers of the seer. They are lost without his guidance. Good guys who win with the village

Victory Conditions
The good guys win when every wolf is dead.
The wolves win once parity is reached. (In other words, when the number of wolves remaining is greater than or equal to the number of goodies remaining.)

Deadline
Deadline will be at 20:00 GMT. Please convert this to your time zone immediately to avoid confusion! A vote made at 19:59 will be counted, one at 20:00 will not be.

Various rules:
§1. You sign up for the game by requesting so in a post in this thread.
§2a. No new players will be admitted into the game once it has started, unless substituting for a current player.
§2b. Players who have been subbed due to failure to participate may not sub for others
§3a. You are responsible for keeping your private message inbox empty enough to receive private messages.
§3b. Roles will be distributed via private messages. Every player WILL receive a PM.
§3c. If you are confused about your role, contact the GM via private message. Do not make a show of it in the thread. Any attempts to discuss role message in the thread are strictly forbidden.
§4a. Orders not delivered on time are IGNORED.
§4b. NOT VOTING means REPLACEMENT OR EVEN DEATH, IMMEDIATELY. The granting of any "grace period" or forgiveness for late votes is entirely up to the GM.
§4c. Invalid votes (like voting for the GM, voting for dead people etc.) are treated like no vote is made. The GM has the final say in all matters.
§4d. Lying to the GM results in permanent ban from werewolf games.
§4e. Never quote private messages from GM (whether true or fake) in the game.
§4f. Screenshots of PMs are not allowed. Forged PMs are allowed.
§4g. Inviting other people into conversation where GM is involved is strictly forbidden.
§5a. SPECTATORS AND GHOSTS MAY HAUNT, TAUNT AND FLAUNT, BUT NEVER SUGGEST ANY COURSE OF ACTION, AFFECT THE GAME IN ANY OTHER WAY NOR REVEAL ANY SECRET/INSIDE INFORMATION. ANYONE CAUGHT DOING IT WILL BE *PERMANENTLY* BANNED FROM PARTICIPATION. NO EXCUSES ARE VALID.
§5b. When doing ghost/spectator commentary, please use a non-white color. The GM color will be this.
§6. Alliances which aren't based on your roles in the game between players are forbidden. These alliances which continue from one game to another undermine the whole idea of the game.
§7a. Voting must be done in the following way. Write "VOTE" and the person you are voting for in bold text, minimum font size 5. For example.
VOTE X
If you wish to unvote someone, write "UNVOTE":
UNVOTE X, VOTE Y
Capital letters are optional. Any other type of voting is counted as no vote and will make you eligible for subbing. Spelling errors are subject to oversight. In case of revoting without unvoting the original vote will be the counted vote.
§7b. At the end of the day player with highest votes is killed (lynched). If there is a tie, all leading candidates will be killed.
§7c. Players will be dead when GM posts the update saying so, until such thing happens every player still in game is alive (if barely in the case of vote winners)
§7d. Should GM make a mistake (lynch/hunt wrong person etc.) the mistake will be kept in the game.
§8a. Trust no one, especially not the GM
§8b. Always trust the GM

Shouldn't the wolves be called videonfan?

Right. I whipped this up quick and forgot who did it originally, will change that flavor.

Is this a formal act of rebellion?

Not really rebellion. We are allowed to have two lite games running at once, it's just not normally worth it to do so. However, since GUG has gone AWOL and a few players are hesitant to join his game, so I'm providing an alternative.

When I actually I'm trying to rebel I'll make a game called the Confederate States of Werewolf.

Also, player list will be updated soon.

The original statement didn't mention the seer, but commented on TIEing two villagers on the first day of a lite. So perhaps you should have Jacob change the title to that? I believe I was the one who started using 'Oh God, we lost the seer'. It was in something like the next game when I was lynched as seer on day 1.

Oh God, we lost another two villagers.

Right. No biggie. Most people remember it for the "We lost the seer" thing and it fits the set up so I'll keep it as is

I would suggest postponing this game until GUG's is done, there is no way we will fill two lites.

Disagree. If it is not filled it's postponed anyway. I can't play the other due to the timing and this would fit most European players more I presume. Also it gives people a choice of GM... choice is never bad, m'kay?

Edit: Also some people can play several games simultaneously (I'm looking at Aedan).

Much as I'd love to relive the days of "Oh, God", I'll be occupied.

I certainly think I'm capable of playing in two lites simultaneously (not to mention everything else I'm in), however forum rules prevent it. This seems more likely to fill up first so

Out for now. But if this game gets close to filling up before the other one, except me to take a spot.
Just join this game and get this over with.

WHY IS IT SO HARD THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID

Ok, I was at classes all morning and just got caught up with everything now. Let me say that:
1) I do not think that sign ups will be an issue. Ironhead's big had 65 players in it. I know that a number of players are only interested in a big, but with PMs I think we can fill each lite.
2) GUG's lite has had 6 days to fill up and only has 10 players. Mine has been up for five hours and has 6 player in. That shows a lack of advertising and several players have voiced a real concern on his ability to stay active and deliver timely updates. I wish no ill will towards GUG and hope that he is a successful GM, but there's obviously a lack of player trust towards him.
So for now I'm keeping sign ups open. First post will be updated shortly.
