LOL. No. It is the day after Christmas. It comes from the days when the nobles would force their servants to work for them on Christmas and then give them small boxes with gifts, money and food left over from the Christmas meals of their betters.
Boxing day is a holiday in some countries where on the 26th of december people would buy their butlers gifts and such. It's really only a thing in the commonwealth + ireland and Germany though. Not celebrated in most other countries
