You mean double lynch on first day? No thanks, odds are against it.

Ah, I thought you had actually read the series. Blueberry is from slave-owning, wealthy Southern family and I assumed/misremembered he'd also been in the Southern army. At the start he's pro-Dixie and ends up eventually in the filthy Union side. So there. *nods*
I sorta read it a long time ago. Didn't remember all the details, but I knew he was a Union soldier (re: Blueberry). I read, and still own, all (?) editions of Jonah released in my language. Printed in Finland :)

Watch out, oy, before you know it you'll let slip that we're packmates. :p
Don't worry mate, I'll keep that a secret* ;-)

Crap... where did all those Split-votes go? I'm in a bit of a tough spot here.

* Until I need to alibi-vote you to save my own sorry arse.

Uh oh... taking the pic from Euro photobucket account. :p
You're one vigilant villager General! I did indeed steal that image from a post made by Euro. That was just being lazy tho... I found that and a bunch of other WW-related smilies that I added to the "other forum" a long time ago. I should go have a look and maybe import a few. In the mean time I suggest you all listen to my wise packm... erm... the wise villager Ithvan and go about voting some other dude we can lynch tonite:

I don't think oy is a wolf. May be just me, though.

Split made an excellent proposal:

should we try a smallish two way tie?

I'll volunteer to be 1/2 that tie if you volunteer to be the other half. Deal?

My observations so far in Werewolf games have taught me that there's always one, but usually two or three quiet werewolves. I'll be going off that observation on the first day at least. Now, there's some quiet people I trust more than others, but that's mostly a question of gut feeling, except for my prime suspects: Nautilu and Split. Nautilu has no votes to his name, so I'll leave this at bringing him to your attention. Split however...

Every single one of his few posts so far has been to-the-point and useful from a werewolf perspective. He "left" but then came back right in time to push us in the direction he wants us to go. Can we get a count? A little two-way tie perhaps?

His insistence for a tie also makes me think that oyoyoy and Livingstone are innocent, but that's besides the point now.

...Let's hope those hunt orders are already sent :D

This is quite an astute post. I'll also note that THE_SPLIT was similarly quiet last Lite, and to some extent in the Big (ignoring his postcount, because a good deal of that was him claiming not to be the sorc the day he was outed), and that is a good indication of him being a wolf. However, I don't know if enough time has passed for us to make that judgement this game, but he is a good suspect, especially for the first day as generally no-one puts forth any analysis whatsoever.

Is Livingstone near the top? I know I'll be lynched if he ends up being a wolf but I have to say this:
Guys, please do not lynch a first time player on the first day. Disregarding whether it is cricket or not, the fact is if we kill new players instantly on their first games they will be less likely to play again, and that means we lose potential good players and our playerbase will shrink.

Interesting, quiet wolfish remarks there dear General. Lets take a look. 1) You are the first person to call me quiet.... in 3 years or so.... This is simply not true.... I know you are probably going to tell me you are "too lazy, or it is not worth it" to re-read the previous games I have played but you will not ice a distinct pattern - I do not post on weekeneds and US holidays... Why? Family life! My comment in regards to coming back was as simple as that - I am at work and ready to go about catching wolfs.... Also you comment about pushing us in the direction I want to go is correct - I know I am not a wolf, but I know nothing about you, why would I want to be lead by a wolf, 4 of which are in the game right now? What good would it do? Also whats up with you going back and forth with the votes? Any reason for so many switches so early on?

These discussions are not worth having, but I'll note that "No, YOU are a wolf!" seems to be a common wolf tactic. My vote switches were in jest and I won't switch anymore. Please don't hunt me.

Note to other people: No, my analysis is not perfect, but it's the best we have.

Some one - counted that that only 42 posts were of me claiming that I was not a wolf. removing thoese I was the thrid most active person in the game..... Also I have 4 less posts then Marshal, hardly a valid argument....

But I noticed that despite your high postcount you still weren't as...visible, as in the thick of things as you would be in other games. However, as I was GM, it's easy for me to notice things like that as I know everyone's role, and maybe confirmation bias is possible as I knew from the start you were a baddie. In a game I'm playing in, it's much, much harder to tell.
Also, as I said in my posts, I think it's far too early to tell if you're being quiet here or not. I mean I've been quiet today by my standards, but only because it's the first day and even the most active players coast on the first day sometimes.
As to Nautilu, he is always very quiet. He was a wolf in the last game, but his behaviour was not really any different, the only way I had him at the top of my suspect list was by vote analysis. Note in the Big game he was a hunter villager (his original role, not the one he subbed in for and is currently playing, which of course I cannot disclose) and was equally quiet.
But still it was a good post by Gen. Marshall and it's a good exercise in itself to encourage activity on the first day. Forcing people to talk, and think out loud is always in the village's best interest.

Not sure but wasn't that for the past 3-4 pages at that point? So you'd posted that 42 posts in just couple of pages. Can't be bothered to check in any case.

Also, Marshall might have a point there but I'm not sure day 1 is for making very decisive judgements yet. Also, I support not lynching the new player immediately.

.
My point exactly, taking those 42 out still leaves me as one of the top posters in that game.....
I am simply trying to point out the flaws in Marshalls argument Also who are referring to as the new player? Livingstone, oyoyo?

I believe Livingstone is first timer here, Marshall maybe, too? Also, it might be that the sorcerous denial was going on even after that calculation (can't remember who did it).

It was Walrus if I recall correctly.... Since you are still alive and have a game going I suggest we move on until the wolfs win that game..... Also I really do not like the fact that the votes are too spread out, this gives wolfs a lot of room to maneuver and save a packmate in jeopardy.
