I vote Euro as the new Ithvan. If anyone can save him he's the one.

I'm not convinced Ithvan is a wolf. I'm quite happy to vote him all the time he's gone tho;

vote Ithvan

Do you guys have pm evidence that makes it obvious? The General voted him and his own late vote that evening isn't conclusively this or that in my mind. Do you wanna refresh my mind what makes him an obvious wolf?

Out of the remaining suggested candidates I make the Marshall an unlikely wolf. Particularly due to the General's vote on him which nearly made them both hang in a tie. The Doctor seemed a useful "replacement" candidate until we got shown the pm where he suggested we lynch the wolf hdk. Surely he didn't sell out his packmate? Neither does Panzer strike me as an obvious choice. He got asked to vote hdk just before the deadline last night and complied. That's not messing up the tie. I said it before and I'll say it again: you're not likely going to be able to create a tie with in the region of 7 people all trying to snipe to make it happen in the dying seconds. That is a lottery.

Are we possibly looking at the wrong people? At least partially?

If it was likely to make any kind of difference I'd revisit earlier pages to see what clues, if any, was there. In the current situation I deem that futile and a complete waste of time. This was the best game I've taken part in until a day+ ago. Ever since it's been a game consisting of a number of pawns that are to do as they're told and get shouted abuse at, with a select few pulling the strings and deciding for them who we are to kill next. It may very well be the most efficient way of winning the game (assuming they are all indeed villagers), but as a game for me and the remaining players it is a meaningless exercise. So dull one may as well leave it be. Is that what Ithvan did?

Reinvigorate me please!

There is one problem with that though. EURO abstained from participating in the game, so Dr.Livingstone could play. At that time roles had been sent though, so for EURO to sub for Ithvan you would need to kill Dr.Livingstone and he would have to be a villager.

"Men at some time are masters of their fates:
The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars
But in ourselves, that we are underlings."

(1.2.146-8), Cassius - "Julius Caesar"

But overall, I kind of have to agree.

Alright, I went back and looked at Ithvan's voting record.

First vote
Ithvan voted tonkatoy5

Second vote
Ithvan voted Gen. Marshall

3rd vote
Ithvan didn't vote

None of them were against known wolves, and besides, do we really want a player who's inactive?

And here's Gen. Marshall's vote record

First vote
Gen. Marshall voted Arkasas

Second vote
Gen. Marshall voted Gen. Skobelev

Third vote
Gen. Marshall voted the_hdk

Two of the votes were against known wolves, and in the case of Gen. Skobelev, he was tie-braking vote. Note, in that case however, the Tie would have included him, so take that as you will.

Vote Gen. Marshal

"Men at some time are masters of their fates:..."
If we are indeed to be masters of our own fate I see but one possible option: We all vote the same, thereby rendering the puppet masters obsolete. As for who then to vote the Doctor says it all:

do we really want a player who's inactive?

-And that's what I did.

Ithvan 4 [newcomers]
Marshall 4 [oldies + Mad C]
Not voted: Ithvan

From the top of my head. You'll have to rewind yourself to make sure tho. I give no guarantees whatsoever my count is right.

Heh, first time I've been referred to as an 'oldie'. And yeah that count seems correct.

Can we get an official vote count?

Looking back a bit, I don't think I've actually voted yet.

Vote Gen. Marshall

to create the tie.
Neither do I; I also haven't been able to locate Panzer's vote, so I doubt he has voted.

Official vote count

Anyone want to bet that Panzer will come last moment? :D

It's a good thing Aedan and I can read your mind then. Makes vote counts so much easier.

I suggest we keep the tie
Why? Anyone wanna share why you reckon the Marshall a likely wolf? Granted, there's likely been alibi-voting with the seer gone, but assuming the new guy doing it each and every day is a bit rich imo. Ithvan is as good a bet as any of the candidates available and the fact he's no longer playing makes him an obvious choice for me. Gotta say I'm clueless why you expect the Marshall to be a baddie tho. PM stuff?

I guess this is headed for a tie anywhichway, so I'm looking at...

a) both are baddies and I bag a most undeserved victory. Prognosis: 1%
b) neither are baddies and I get hunted tonight. Prognosis: 49%
c) Marshall is the only baddie and I get lynched tomorrow. Prognosis: 1%
d) Ithvan is the only baddie and I'm at great risk of getting hunted. Prognosis: 49%

Doesn't look good. Please have a look at Marshall-voters tomorrow if I'm gone.
