I surrender.

The marty hunt was an unfortunate mistake, as I did not realize that individuals rather than groups could win these games. He was definitely the best player in this game.

Thanks to oy and Livingstone for their unfounded trust in me. You're good fellows. Oy, let's try this one more game. I'm sure the atmosphere will change when the last wolf isn't a new player like me.

Other than that, I hope I did okay in my first game as a wolf. I did not feel I could do many things, and although I feel I played a good game after day 1, my early suspicious behaviour probably caught too much attention to shake off, simply by voting for packmates who were doomed anyway. Inactive packmates, I must say. Other than that I'm especially proud of my tiebreaking, but I'm sure you feel otherwise ;)

GG

I salute you, general. You did a very fine job, and I must say you played merry hell with our tie-making efforts, got marty to think you were probably innocent, had me doubting for a while, and got much of the village on your side. I'm very impressed, and I would be pleased to have you on any team I was in.

Don't apologize for your hunt; as far as you knew, you still had a chance to win the game, and marty was a very vocal and obvious villager, which unfortunately makes him a good target. He earned the win, but sometimes that happens and you don't get it anyway.

Your misfortune was running up against the steamroller that was THE_SPLIT's impeccable wolf-detecting skills. He contacted four of us after day 1, telling us that he was sure we were all villagers and that you, Skobie, and the_hdk were wolves. We decided to test it out, and he was right on all accounts, so we kind of took over the game from there. I'm sure it sapped the fun from the game for some, especially those not in the loop, but the results speak for themselves.

I hope to see you and others back for more!

Greetings fellow villagers (or at least I hope so). These fellow villagers are: madchemist , aedan777, tonkatoy5, marty99, I have on purpose made the to list public – this will ensure no one is saying that the letter is a clever hoodwink attempt by the great (and modest) wolf hunter Split. I have included here a list of people I believe are likelier to be goodies, but excluded Hax (idiot), Panzer Comnader (imbecilic), and Dr.Livngstone (noob).
I am asking, my dear villager, not for too much but just for 1 VOTE. That is all 1 vote. On any of the following three candidates: Gen.Skobelev, the_HDK, or/and Gen. Marshall. For variety of reasons I have come to believe that these three are indeed wolfs. In fact I am willing to stake my reputation on this. Now most of you on this PM do not like me, some more than other, but still. I am fine with that, I am not your friend, your brother or your spouse… I do not care. What I do care about is winning this game for the village. I could do something similar to what happened the game before last, that is publicly out them and then watch the fireworks but I do feel like winning a few games so I would rather stay in the shadows tonight.
Now you might be saying that I am a sly bastard who is trying to pull a fast one on the village – and for that reason I am including the receipt list. Should one of the above mentioned pussies turn out to be a villager, feel free to post this message publicly. Should EVEN one of them turn out to be a villager, feel free to lynch me. We are still far from parity and I beg you to give me one day and one vote….. That is all I ask.
For obvious reasons I ask you not to forward this to other people, but to give me one vote and one day…..

This is why the wolves were screwed after day 1, dead seer or not. Whatever can be said of SPLIT as a person, he is extremely good at catching wolves. Ithvan wasn't particularly hard to find as the last wolf. It's a shame Marty and Tonka died, since they took the credit, and target, for getting skobelev. Though the most fun I had was convincing Tonka that I was the last wolf after he got hunted.

What can be said about me as a person?

You are extremely abrasive, and often a pain. Regardless you are an very good werewolf player, though your methods are occasionally highly questionable.

Any time I am not abrasive my side dances the hemp fandango or gets eaten.. Unfortunately I am unaware of methods of keeping people from making poor choices without reverting to stern behavior. Just like educating kids: you ask them nice once, you explain it logically twice, but if after these three times the kid does not get it you have to take the toy away...

On Marshall's performance: Kind-of agreed. I did pin him down day 2/3 even from a very quick reading but he got so much better after that I even had some doubts the last day(Though I would've voted him regardless, because the PJL had been so effective I couldn't not trust it)

On the marty hunt: Disagree. It was almost impossible that he would win so taking away a win from someone who deserved it was a bad move, at least that's how I see it(Though since he didn't know that dead people don't win you can't really blame him.

On Split: Completely agree with both you and aedan. This is the 4th game I see where he pins down all (remaining) wolves correctly, I don't know how he does it, but it works.

is this game officially over?

What in the name of Euro is going on here?

Alright I'm back, what have I missed.

*Looks over thread.*

Oh good I haven't been hunted, and Ithvan is a wolf.

*Scrolls down*

Everyone's hunting Marshall, no surprise there.

*Reads Oyos giving up*

Shame.

*Reads Marshall confession, eyes widen*

Marshall, say it isn't so! Your voting record and everything! I feel betrayed! ;)

In any case, it was a fun first game.

No reason to waste the rest of the day then.

Remember to watch the video. This is a very iconic mexican standoff and it is very much worth watching.

Day 6:
You arrive a a valley where a lot of fighting has taken place. On the entire hillside there is trenches and at the bottom there is a destroyed bridge across a river; on the other side there also is trenches. You cross the valley and soon after you reach a small church. As you enter a man witout a name(villager THE_SPLIT) starts riding away from the other. They find a cannon in front of the church and starts shooting at the man without a name; he gets away though.

Nearby in a cemetary Tuco(villager aedan777) has arrived at the unmarked grave where the gold is burried. He starts digging and as he digs Angel Eyes(villager madchemist) approaches and takes his gun. He the forces Tuco to continue digging at gun point.
Simultaniously a Union marshall(wolf Gen. Marshall) comes riding and sees Tuco desecrate the graves; even though it is enemy graves the marshall won't tolerate this, so he takes his gun and aims for Tuco's head. BANG.

Just as he has Tuco's head in the crosshairs the man without a name arrives and shoots the marshall. He then goes down to the others and they engage in a mexican standoff. After having been in the standoff for a long time both Tuco and the man without a name shoots Angel Eyes, before he can respond. Angel Eyes tumbles into an empty grave and the man without a name forces Tuco to continue digging at gunpoint. After the gold has been excavated he takes a piece of rope, puts the noose around Tuco's head and places Tuco on one of the grave stone crosses. He then takes half of the gold and rides away. At some distance he shoots the rope and Tuco falls down from the cross.
The man without a name rides away.

Despite my bad mood, this was quite a great game. The seer dying before doing anything and a village steamrolling the wolves nonetheless. This deserves to go down as one of the best village performances in Lite history.

I wasn't the best player in this game. THE_SPLIT was the one who found you, skobelev and hdk. The only one I can really claim credit for finding first was Ithvan, and even that was a joint effort. I was merely the enforcer for most of the game, helping getting people lynched who Split had pinged as wolves:

"I made myself the biggest target and then got hunted!"
You know I can't change the way I play. :(

I wouldn't say the seer did nothing; he just didn't have time to blow the pack as you will see when I post the GM AAR.

Congrats to the winners and thanks to the GM for the game. Good to see that there was activity, about time Lite got back into activity properly.

That was a fun game. I just wish I knew what had happened to the other characters, like Robert. E Lee.... :)
