Still, congratulations to the goodies. After the disastrous first day I thought it would go to wolves. And thanks all for playing, though once again activity could be higher. And the RP was nice as always on those who bothered to do it.
If I didn't get hunted tonight I was definitely going to post this:

Anyone want to GM next? I really really want to play again. I'm starting to finally get back into the form I was in back in early '10. And since I was fifteen then I'd hope I can improve a little bit more than that. :p

I don't know that I can GM until mid-June, at the earliest. I should probably also get a bigger PM inbox first (10 just isn't enough).

You can't annoy me, Ark. You're not incompetent enough.

Don't worry, other players will do it.

The funny thing is that the scandal of Venstre buying him suits for 20.000€ and giving him and his family free vacations actually netted the worst result since 1989 and probably was a huge contributing factor in giving DF(extreme right) 26.6% of the votes. This scandal is not the only one concerning Løkke though. In the fall it was discovered that he as chairman for the climate organisation GGGI had flown first class for something like 110.000€ and there is an even older case where among other things he didn't properly hand in how much he as a politician had taken a taxi---on the taxpayers bill. Now a member of the main board of Venstre has called for his resignation.

Stay classy, politicians, stay classy... and I'm sure every country has similar ruling elite, unfortunately.

Make a few posts in the AAR section like "nice update brah" and you'll get it upgraded to 30 in no time. I'm not sure how many people have a 50er like me.

Hmm when I played actively back in the day I think post box had max 20. Now it's at least 50. I guess it's something like time-tied or post-tied, again? Maybe 3k posts like the old custom avatar requirement was?

Thanks for GMing Gen. Skobelev. It was a good game.

It's already over? Time's been passing by so quickly...

Well, I was planning on starting the next one, however I'd also like a chance to play. I think I'll give it a day and then if no one has started a new one I'll get to it.
Does it take considerably more time GMing than playing? If not I could do the next one.

Depends how you want to go with it. Barebones updates take no time at all (less than playing seriously, actually, since you don't need to think as GM :D ) and GM stuff is the same (talking about Lite here, naturally) since it's just the vote count, hunt and scan. But for more rp-updates it might take some time, though not that much if you have idea what you are going to do and if players provide characters etc.

edit: Olaus should make comeback, he was always willing to GM to entertain the masses.

It cannot only be because of posts; it must also depend on how long you have been registered or on how many registered games you have, since I can have 40 PMs and have more posts than you, but registered later and have fewer games registered.

Actually most of our politicians aren't that way, which is also why it is such a scandal. The only other similar scandal I can think of is the one with Peter Brixtofte. That one was far worse though, since he ended up in jail whereas Løkke hasn't broken any laws as far as we know. Peter Brixtofte was mayor of Farum for Venstre, when it in 2002 was discovered that he - and the whole city council I think - had eaten on really expensive restaurants, bought expensive wine, illegally sponsered the local football team through their stadium and some other things I think.

I've got 40. I think it's tied to post count, yes. Mine doubled when I hit 750 posts, I think.

I guess it really depends on how much you want to commit to it, but I would say in general, it doesn't really take much more time, nope.

Well, inactive GMing still takes more time than zombying, but an active GM spends about as much time as an active player and you are clearly an active player so...

Way back then 550 days or 3k posts allowed invisible mode and I'd say slightly larger PM box. No idea what it is now.

The others just aren't caught. :p It's the same here, only some of the worst offenders get real flak for it, otherwise it's nice to get free taxi cards and other perks.

That must be it, then. I suppose either 1500 or 3000 triggers the 50 slot.

This. Though zombie player is just as sad as zombie GM. But active player should have no problem as GM to spend huge amount of time in the game, too. ;)

He said he would come back if anyone surpassed him in number of lites GMed. Hdk and I long ago passed that threshold.

As far as I know it is tied both to post counts AND time registered in an OR relationship. I can store 40 messages too yet I only have 358 posts, and I know my PM box got larger exactly when I had hit 18 months registered time

Damn. I think you should try to ambush him in the OT pretty girl -thread or CKII-forums, I'm certain I've seen him there.

Sounds like the 550 days thing is still on, then.

Not for Lite, no. In fact I spend considerably less time when I'm GM'ing Lite than when I'm playing it.

In that case I will GM the next one. I will try to do RP updates, but usually I am not good to come up with RP, so we will see how good they will be.

I actually think he was allowed to have the free taxi rides---the problem was something along him not properly handing in the receits. It was called bilagssagen (the voucher case) after all.

Well I also have a 40 PM limit and only have 377 posts, so time registered must certainly also play a role.

You're probably on the money.

Oh, if Olaus is indeed coming back, you should change your avatar because I think you two have the same one. It would be... uncooth to pressgang the man into GMing and forcing him to change his avatar.

Olaus used to have the missionary advisor as his avy, the SCO flag. Are you saying he changed it? :(

Back in the day people weren't so worried about PM space, they wanted to get the ability for invisibility since checking who was on thread was pretty damn invaluable for werewolf players. :D
