In as Trotsky, who didn't die afterall.

Btw, I think talking about gulags are against the rules.

I've already got him to call the Blade!phone for that. It's certainly against the rules in the HoI forums, but the general rules aren't 100% clear. I'd imagine it isn't allowed, though.

For now before a decision comes keep rolling with sign ups. Worst case scenario they are used for a new theme.

I will be monitoring this game. You guys are a prison camp in a place with lots of snow and painful work to do. Don't stray. :)

Given that I have never played this game before in its internet format, I am somewhat apprehensive. Nonetheless, I would like to join the game, if there are any spare spaces.

You're already better than me at this game. Don't worry you'll do fine.

Trying to fool the newbies, are we?
Do not listen to joeb. He is one of our most cunning players, bested only by the legendary Capt. Kiwi.

Indeed. I am so legendary that I have never won a game, because I 'd rather throw the mortals a few scraps. I'm also very humble.

@Napoleon XIX: Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it quickly enough. Just don't trust Najs. He's an elusive fellow who some how convinces you to go against your instincts even though they're actually right, without him actually needing to say anything. He also hasn't updated his win %, making himself look worse than he is. Devious, through and through.

Quit building up this mythos about me. I did one good thing as a wolf in a BIG game that helped our team win. That does not make me one of the most cunning players. I have never survived to the end as a villager and won based on my own analysis, Najs, you have. You are better at this game than me Najs.

Capt. Kiwi on the other hand, has single handedly saved the solar system from a black hole through werewolf analysis alone.

@ Napoleon

Ignore the veteran talk, I always find it intimidating, being a newbie. They're always so devious, too, you can't trust any of them. A standard strategy here is to pretend to be the seer when you're really a wolf, and then they hunt you the next day.

So never trust a seer.

Wait, what, when did that happen? Najs said himself he was too busy that Lite to analyze much, and his switch to the wolf Adamus was from my analysis - and he very nearly sniped back onto me.

He could certainly plug a black hole with his analysis posts they're so big...

Oh how modest you are. Trying to look bad so you don't get hunted? And seriously, I am better than you are? No, no. Take a look at my stats. I am good at one thing, and that is getting killed in various ways.

But fine then. How about we let Kiwi take up two places on the "Most cunning player list" and place you 3rd, right after Capt. Kiwi and Capt. Kiwi? If you really consider yourself that bad we can always squeeze in Randy a couple of times as well!

I think I recall a recent Lite game where I first analysed and then successfully scanned and killed wolfs for the win...

A quick question: what, if anything, to the villagers discover about those they have lynched?

Their role, eg seer, villager, wolf.

I wasn't trying to diminish that victory, but Joeb mentioned surviving to the end and winning on your own analysis as a villager, which if you mean the role, I'd say you hadn't.

Your Lite CCV victory was another matter entirely. That was impressive.

If I ever GM again I'll create a new role or trait so that you can die in a new way. You seem to have died every other possible way you could.

As GM, I will (probably) post a quick update just telling you who was hunted and who was lynched, then later add some flavour in the form of an RP update. I will also update the list of players on the front page, and as they die, their roles will be revealed.

Oh, I am the only one allowed to post in this colour. Mwahaha.

Oh this victory was so much better due to the fact that my first victory was largely unsatisfying, possibly due to not doing very much to win.
I have yet to be brutalized, outed (though that goes under lynching) and leader lynched. I think that would make it complete.

If I can ever help you complete that list, by being a leader, JL, or brutal, I shall, I promise. Friends do these things for each other.

While I can get away with asking this in the open, in Lite is the seer's scan deemed to be before, after, or simultaneous to the wolves' hunt? Since that has quite an impact on what happens.

@Napoleon: Ignore Vainglory, he's been here longer than I have. Which isn't long. He's just annoyed that I got him his win.

I am the GM, and I decree that... it is in the evening, after the lynch and before the hunt. Because I have written some PMs for the seer set in the evening and early night.
