You're making both the decision and the result sound a lot worse than they were. Yes, I was unlucky that the result of that Asylum-fitting post was almost the worst it could have been (because the two wolves I outed along with the seer had already been scanned, which was the probability of one in a large number, and because Euro was actually the seer and not a JL villager like could be expected), but it still was 6-1 when I died. Besides, all of it would have been avoided had Euro been honest about who had been scanned as wolves.
If I ended up in such a situation in the future, I might do the same thing. I'm quite sure it was the correct choice mathematically, which no-one has disproved and some even agreed with. That said, I believe I know better now than to get myself into such a situation under normal circumstances.
That's another thing. Back then a lot of people were so inactive that if I didn't say anything things were left unsaid that needed to be said and the game would just die on me.
With the new player influx my activity level doesn't need to be that high - and especially nowhere near someone like Vainglory

Well, I still had loads of fun watching the train wreck. You know, EURO is quite amusing to have in your game. In The Asylum he scanned trespoe first, and when he then died he went "Trespoe, Nooooooooooo" in the thread. And then asked me what the hell he was supposed to do now. I think after that he died.

That's lame. I was circular to all the wolf PMs in CCV, it was great. IIRC I wasn't circular to the JL PMs? But I had enough information for it to be an amazing experience.

I didn't ask, so I didn't receive. That's only fair. In future I'd probably request being CCd.
@Malurous: It's maybe possible you could have handled the situation better, but tbh, I just pulled a stupid stunt that wound up working perfectly. I certainly wouldn't say you made any sort of obvious mistake. It was fun though.

If there's a next time I'll fill you in on everything. I usually keep the behind the scenes discussion behind the scenes, just thinking the GM won't want to have to keep clearing his inbox so much. Mebbe that's not usually the case.

Well, as Vainglory has already said it's quite fun to be the GM and actually having the supreme overview of what happens. If the JL or wolfs shut themselves in that doesn't happen. Much less amusement for the GM, I think. Next time I'll just say out loud that including me in PM's would be kind.

Glad to hear that you at least enjoyed watching my brute force approach. I did make the obvious mistake of going "Ooh, shiny PM, let's do exactly as it says immediately without thinking at all!" upon receiving snoop's PM. That was very noob. Afterwards, I was in a situation where I didn't want to be, and from which there was no perfect way out. And IIRC, it all started so late in the day that I didn't exactly have all the time in the world to sort it out either.
