Before that, all i did say is that i contacted a wolf. But i couldn't tell you what i knew.

.. why not?

Let's say that it was probably my worst mistake in this game... playing "honourably"... :p

In the conversation last night, after the fact i didn't pick up on his tell in the first message, when the_hdk told me he was a wolf..., i should have cut off the conversation, so to speak, and reported here. Especially, as it became apparent to me that we... or at least... i had it all wrong. At that point, i realised that i knew who the wolves were.

Being already designated target for the hunt, i should have told what i thought to be the truth. But i had had a 13 hour long day, my JL had been wiped out the day before, so i did the stupidest thing ever, i continued the conversation and got confirmation on who the logical wolves were.

From that point on, i was stuck. So i held on to my vote and kept my mouth shut.

13th game, and i still feel such a rookie :eek:o

LOL.
Ok. So - you actually got a wolf to tell you who to wolves were, but you decided that you had already lost - despite the game being not already over - so you couldn't talk about it?

You do realize that this is werewolf, right? You're allowed to lie through your teeth in an attempt to get to the bottom of who the wolves were. If you had turned around at that point and simply posted the names in the thread going "neener neener neener" it would still have been perfectly acceptable :p

And really, just because you as a seer gave your identity away doesn't mean the game is over. Between me and King and your vote we could have gotten at least one of them today ..

just to point out. I only told the rest after you said you gave up gig :)

If I put you in a bad position I'm sorry. but you told me you gave up so I told you the rest as I though teh game was over at that point anyway.

Fat. Lady. Sings.
That's all I have to say about it.

well I didnt win either if that makes you feel any better ;)

also I hate it when gm's dont update the first page after the game is over. finish your job!

So you can update the lite stats..... :)

For anyone interested in the RP, I had a whole little sub-story going with gigau. I also think the game was interesting enough to write an AAR on.

I have a partially-baked factbook on Almeida for anyone interested in the source material.

Then there was some misunderstanding (but due to my not paying enough attention last night)...i actually gave up all hope when i got the fact you told the wolves. Before that, i was trying to get an ally, and saying (or at least thinking) that i was giving up on finding a solution.

.. why not?

Because, at the point i asked about who the other wolves were, i had yielded.

LOL.

Hard lesson learnt... but duly memorised ;)

It's a shame i get to realise that on hindsight.

I apologise to the village for that.

Completely interested, of course ! Especially as i tried to play along. :)

Will Euro host a new one?

Good game guys. Thanks Taii. If it's any consolation Gig, seeing as how the last day went, it's likely it goes the same if you hadn't contacted hdk.

Why did you have to hunt me for? What did I ever do to you wolves? :(

Nothing really. You were a backup hunt that day I believe.

Yes.

This game ended like many others I have seen. Most villagers have the same two candidates (hdk and Rendap, look at how many times their names are mentioned) but don't know who the third is. The village should always go with who they believe is bad and work on the last one at the end. Make the last wolf work for the victory. I am just as guilty as the others here.

I have done the same as the villagers have here many times, and I have come to the conclusion that the wolves always muddy the waters up and get a villager lynched whenever the village decides to go after the hidden wolf instead of the obvious wolves. And the wolves always win.

Stick to yer guns and vote the wolves that everyone agrees on first. Always.

The Game of WEREWOLF lite

Welcome to the game of Werewolf. No other experience will twist your mind and force you to look into the deep recesses of your own soul like the anarchy and chaos of this game. All are welcome to join, but beware: that haunting melody of laughter you hear dancing on the wind can quickly turn into the ferocious growl of a beast from Hell.

Werewolf Lite CCXL

This thread represents a Tavern. The Tavern is in the village green of a small, backwards village tucked away in a corner of the Carpathian mountains. You have lived in this village your entire life, living the simple life of a farmer, and you think you know the other patrons at the Tavern. But you don't really know them. Because behind the shifty eyes and hunched backs and angry scowls lies a deep secret that every villager here keeps. For some of them are not just villagers. Some of them are degenerate worshippers of an evil religion, and have transformed themselves into terrible creatures, such as Werewolves. There is still hope; for some of these villagers are secretly heroes, hiding an identity that could deliver you and your fellow villagers from certain death at the hands of these foul beasts. A deadly battle must be waged between the forces of good and evil, and only one side will prevail. But this isn't a battle of axes and torches; because you do not really know who is good and who is evil, this will be a battle of wills. Each night, the werewolves will hunt one villager... pray that it is not you. And each day, you and the other survivors must come to this tavern to witness the terrible carnage wrought by the werewolves, and to debate amongst your fellow villagers who must pay the ultimate price for this devilry. To defeat this terror, you must find the evildoers from amongst the village, and lynch them.
