Sorry, last game reminded me that I stopped because I don't have time enough to play. Have fun!

You say you didn't have enough time to play, yet you played better than most people in that game. I won't pressure you, but if you change your mind, you know where to find us!

Hi, Panzer! I’m still having cognitive difficulties; I couldn’t understand the game rules so I didn’t even offer to sign up to hold a spot for the first person to get lynched or hunted. From what I can understand, it might take 3 days for someone to be eliminated, and I am not up to sticking around that long. I’m sorry; it looks like a very interesting innovation! I’m not capable of handling it right now. (I couldn’t even get through one of the news articles I tried to read this morning, meh.)

I did PM Jopi, Darth Howard, and Styrbiorn to alert them to this game and alxeu’s. :)

I'm sorry to hear that. I appreciate the invitations you have sent out very much, however!

Also, can I trade colors with the Midwest Federation?

It would please the Chaesar very much.

It is done

Okay. In. Happy to give my spot up to someone if an 18th player wants to play.

It would be unlikely, but a good problem to have. We need 6 more players. I could always start it as a 12 player game if we get 2 more and no more by Monday. But I'd rather have a full roster

I will be role playing as the Salt Lake Sultanate. Explanation to follow when I’m less drunk

I hope your RP is able to account for not owning Salt Lake City given that Randy already had it :D I gave you the closest lands neighboring it

No.

Okay, I don't want to delay the start of the game too much because then people start forgetting that they signed up and game activity can suffer significantly.

I've re-done the setup to require only 12 players, imo the lowest we can get away with (using reduced 13 player setups + no night 0 hunt).

We have 11 players, there's only 1 spot left. I've made that spot a super powerful 5 state nation to hopefully entice someone to sign up and claim it.

Also, brought DC back and made it give 2 votes instead of 1 to keep balance with almost everyone at 4. (Pine Republic is also at 5 - but being stuck in the corner as it is, I thought it needed the help)

The Chaesar is pleased with this development.

Day 0
The Game Starts - Day 0

With 12 players in, everyone should now have received a Role PM.

The first deadline will be a combined night and day deadline. Therefore,
there is no shamvoting this game. We are already choosing our first lynch.
The first deadline will happen at
18:00 GMT on Wednesday 19 February, that is, almost exactly 29 hours from the time of this post.

A quick reminder of Werediplomacy's special rules:
1- Each player gets an amount of votes equal to the number of territories they control. DC counts for 2 votes.
2- When a player is eliminated by lynching, their territory is divided up between their neighbors. This does not apply to wolf hunts.
3- Wolves "hunt" by choosing a number of territories to destroy each night. They do not have to all belong to the same state. A player is eliminated only when they lose their last state. The number of hunts that the wolves get each night is equal to the average number of states controlled by each player, rounded to the nearest whole integer. For night 0 it is equal to 51 / 12 = 4.25 = 4 states.

A full list of the special rules can be found on Page 1: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/werewolf-lite-cdl-shattered-union.1728734/post-30175148

Ok, well. In that case,

Vote MRT - Marty

Because
A) He said he can't be very active so getting information early is good.
B) if we lynch him, I get more territory.
C) Given that 3 others would also get territory out of that, odds of lynching him are better than with any other neighbor.

But if we partition Texas, we could both wind up with more than one state.

Let's mess with Texas!

Vote ARK - Ilkhanate

For similar map-based reasons as outlined by randakar above. Four of us share borders with this accursed realm, so the benefits of a temporary and informal alliance seem obvious.

I don't know what a warlock does in this game yet, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that there is one!

From that clarification, I assume that we have a seer since that sounds like a seer question to ask of the GM.

Namely, what would I scan a warlock as belong to.

I see what you mean. I need to read the rules properly and find out what a warlock does.
