But I would be lying if I said the game didn't suffer from the absence of @Capibara and @Capt. Kiwi and @Audren and @Spockyt and @jacob-Lundgren

That said it would be very weird if this was the first werewolf game that @aedan777 failed to join, maybe @Rovsea or @Daffius or @Cymsdale or @De Chatillôn would love to be here for this momentuous occasion

I copied the rules from the last lite that got off the ground, just with changes to fit the theme better, so maybe I missed something
We’re at 12 people. I’ll give at least another 24 hours for players to join, and then I’ll ask if people want to start then or wait a bit longer.

So apparently deck was introduced by @Arkasas in April 2014 in the retirement home game:

Not sure how it fits the theme of that game, but since then it has been used almost exclusively in @Arkasas games - and 2 others that copied from them, Lost city of ww: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/werewolf-lite-cdxvi-the-lost-city-of-ww.1119445/ and this one (which copied it from crop rotation in july 2021 - werewolf is so dead that that's the most recent lite)

So, @Arkasas , we need answers. Why did you introduce this falsehood to werewolf games? Why did you dutifully stick by it for over 8 years, hoping for it to be repeated perhaps? Why did you sneakily sign up as a deck - did you know people would comment on it? Have you been checking the rules of every werewolf game to know if it had deck in the rules? What if I hadn't tagged Cymsdale to comment, would you have kept up the act for 8 years more? Am I complicit in this? Is my life the truman show?
