Seeing as we are spiders and we all got 8 legs it's quite easy for us to do counts.

Jonti (4) - TT, Yoenit, Randakar, the_hdk
Walrus (2) - Lord_D, Cuthuthtuhtutulu
TT (2) - Jonti, Kaetje
Kaetje (2) - Lord Strange, Marty99
Randakar - Walrus

Already someone in the lead with a gap. That's
1) unusual
2) suspicious

It makes me feel like we shouldn't lynch Jonti, but someone else.

Did that actually look like an outing to any of you? Not a whit of that was authentic, nor meant to be. I wouldn't out someone as the seer 30 minutes into the first day.

But my vote stays. 'Cuz why not?

It bloody well appears to.

Time for my usual third-voter-of-the-first-day vote:

Vote jonti-h

The third voter who is already the subject of a bandwagon eh?
You *always* get me killed, and I am bored with it.

What's the reasoning behind this strategy?

He is probably stoned.

there is no 14 so i'll vote 7

vote jonti

As are you.

So I get bandwagonned twice in 2 days for totally stupid reasons. We effing hay.

Randakar and the hdk, you ought to know better. I got wagonned in full for being the third voter, wasn't a wolf, and what do you do? Oh look, you do it again. What is it they call repeating the same action and expecting a different result? Oh yes, the definition of stupidity.

As for "no 14 so I'll vote 7" If you want to bandwagon me, at least have the spine to bloody well say so.

What's the reasoning behind this strategy?

No time to write long things, will just quote myself from the general thread:

I've used since my very first game, so yeah, it's been a while.
And as you've seen first hand in your last game I did get a wolf hanged that way - he was my packmate :D

As for "why".. well, for starters, I've been using it so long now it's hard to stop. People might think I don't want to vote my packmate or something :D

Secondly, it's mostly a way to cast a random vote that is subtly not random. You see, people can choose to be the third voter. They know it will yield them a vote early in the day when I'm playing. More often than not you'll see two votes in a game, sometimes in rapid succession, and then a gap where apparently a lot of people are debating with themselves whether they want to get my vote or not :D

It's not much but it does yield the village a little information, I think.

No time to write long things, will just quote myself from the general thread:

So you can't be arsed basically?
Not even to read the thread to see you're creating a bandwagon.

Yoenit is a noob, so we can't expect anything much from him yet. You though.
Of course, it just happens to be me *yet again* who you get a chance to kill.

why so nervous?

Because I know how these games work, duuh.

And yes, I get pissed off when there's a bandwagon on me for the most asnine of reasons. It's not as if you are even bothering to keep a close vote.

If you are trying, through your a of pot smoke, to imply i am nervous because i have something to hide then you really have pickled yourself.

I definitely agree we shouldn't lynch jonti today, also the fact that he has less pack possibilities*, and as well as that when accused jonti usually reacts angrily when he's a villager, and he's done that this time.

Somehow I doubt that.

It's not much but it does yield the village a little information, I think.
In what way does someone not wanting to receive an extra vote give any indication of their role?

I don't think we can blame him for voting you based on his system, as long as he decides to stick with that (and to be fair it might look suspicious if he suddenly stopped) he has no choice but to vote you, the whole conspiracy theory here doesn't really work, he could not have known you would be the third voter.

So I don't think him suspicious for bandwagoning you, but it was poor play perhaps.

*I know they aren't usually reliable but in a game this size because of the limited options and also the fact that in a smaller game sell-outs are less likely (IMO), someone who has less pack options should be considered a less likely wolf.

I don't think we can blame him for voting you based on his system, as long as he decides to stick with that

When it has been shown in virtually every game to be a totally **** theory though, he can change it. As I said, repeating the same action...

the whole conspiracy theory here doesn't really work, he could not have known you would be the third voter.

It's just a coincidence that Randakar always kills me.

So I don't think him suspicious for bandwagoning you, but it was poor play perhaps.

I think anyone joining an already underway bandwagon suspicious, whether it be on me or anyone else. They are either useless, or a wolf.

Another thing that strikes me as odd is that, despite the fact jonti is out in front by two votes and at least a few people have found this an undesirable state of affairs, no one has yet made a move to bring someone closer to jonti-h. This fits with one of the people with two votes being a wolf and would partially explain why people are so reluctant to bring them nearer the lead. Regardless of whether that's true we should keep it close, since there's only one person yet to vote (Eternaly_Lost?), it seems this may stay like this so I'll change:

Unvote Kaetje Vote Thistletooth

Not because of his behaviour but simply because I voted Walrus at least once recently, and there's no other option.

When it has been shown in virtually every game to be a totally **** theory though, he can change it. As I said, repeating the same action...
I agree with you in that I think it's completely pointless, but as long as he decides to keep it then his vote must go on you

It's just a coincidence that Randakar always kills me.
It's might not always be, but today it surely is.

I think anyone joining an already underway bandwagon suspicious, whether it be on me or anyone else. They are either useless, or a wolf.
For the moment I would say useless, although Randakar could be a bit useful later on, once he's not shackled by his ''system''.

I think anyone joining an already underway bandwagon suspicious, whether it be on me or anyone else. They are either useless, or a wolf.

In that case the_hdk is the best lynch, seeing as he's either very useless or very wolfish.

However, if I switch away from TT now it would make me very suspicious, since I'll bring it back to 4, 2,2,2, again while it's 4,3,2,2, now.

On the other hand, if I keep my vote the way it is, TT gets lynched and he's a villager everyone will think me and jonti are packmates the way the votes lie now and seeing as I started the "we don't wanna lynch jonti now" part.

Indeed. There must be enough information on me by now, let's hang someone!!

He could be a useless wolf.

Nah, you'll not look like a packmate 'cos 1) I am not a wolf and 2) saving me is natural because I'm awesome. *nods*

We're just gonna crawl underneath the rock and get some sleep (do spiders sleep?). See you all in the morning!

The third voter who is already the subject of a bandwagon eh?

huh?
Look, I always do that vote no matter what. It doesn't matter who the third voter happens to be. If it's my packmate I'm *still* putting my vote there. Hell, if it's the seer and he scanned me? Still bloody well voting him.
It means absolutely nothing.

You *always* get me killed, and I am bored with it.

And that is patently untrue. You know it is. I had a hunt streak on you once, sure. But we're even on that. Apart from that - seriously, when is the last time I got you killed for no good reason?

So I get bandwagonned twice in 2 days for totally stupid reasons. We effing hay.

I didn't vote you in the big game, nor did I say anything about you in that game at all. I didn't even think you suspicious..

Randakar and the hdk, you ought to know better. I got wagonned in full for being the third voter, wasn't a wolf, and what do you do? Oh look, you do it again. What is it they call repeating the same action and expecting a different result? Oh yes, the definition of stupidity.

I really wonder why you're so angry here. It's what, 20 hours until the deadline? Relax ..

So you can't be arsed basically?
Not even to read the thread to see you're creating a bandwagon.

My family wanted me to come downstairs and watch a movie. That kind of took priority. :p

Information is information. It's a clue, nothing more. Not much of one maybe, but *shrug*.
Besides, that's not the real reason why I do it like that anyway?

Any means of randomly voting someone is ****, really. Random votes aren't effective to find wolves, analysis is.

The main thing about it is *I don't have a choice*. The game rolls the dice for me. Nobody can say "that vote wasn't random", because it's not up to me to decide who the dice lands on.

I'd be very careful with that argument if I were you. It's not true and an appeal to my emotions. It has worked in the past to get me to unvote you - something which I was planning to do _anyway_ - but your blatant attempt at manipulating me in this matter makes me reconsider.

Well, consider yourselves lucky jonti .. that actually is a good argument.

Unvote jonti-h
Vote walrus

It's a bloodie lie, that's what it is. Historically I've always *avoided* voting him. Except when I have good reasons for it. And like I've said before, we have a ton of time until the deadline.

marty99 said:

It's not as big a set of shackles as you think. I change my vote away from the initial one often enough. Heck, I've once did the vote switch in the same post that I put the initial one down.

Usually I let it sit for a bit though.

edit: Also - tie!

Yes, I lknow I said I was gonna go to sleep, but I had to wait for Randy's post.

Unofficial Votecount is Unofficial

Jonti (3) - TT, Yoenit, the_hdk
Walrus (3) - Lord_D, Cuthuthtuhtutulu, Randakar
TT (3) - Jonti, Kaetje, Marty99

Kaetje (1) - Lord Strange
Randakar (1) - Walrus

Grats Randy, you made it into a threeway tie. I can undo it by voting Walrus, but I don't know if I wanna lynch Walrus.

It's the first day, but atm my suspicions are more centered around the_hdk and Randy.

I'll do my best about moving it away from TieLand in the morning.

Well, I'm not a wolf. Thanks.
