Okay, in the event that we lose tonight I'm going to call it: randakar/Slinky/Eternaly_Lost/Boris ze Spider pack.

Two out of four. Not bad.
That half my play was all about making you suspect whoever I was attempting to "save" and trust whoever I was attempting to get lynched kind of shot right past you, didn't it? :D

2 out of 4 is not good enough.

The game is over
Winners:

- randakar the wolf
- reis91 the wolf
- Eternaly_Lost the wolf
- walrus subbed by enkhuush.v.2

You have just witnessed a Stalingrad. Village, I am disappoint. Wolves, congratulations.

More so when it felt like Reis91 was run up every day of the game. Still, thanks for the help Marty, we could not have pulled off the Stalingrad without your help.

I knew you were a wolf, and I tried my damndest to get you lynched. If the village had listened the game would still be going on, I don't know if I would have lynched reis in the end, but I was right about you.

Still...

FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Sorry, Rysz, for once you were actually right :p

Thanks, Torn. It really was a good game.

And yeah, I am disappointed - nobody trusted Marty enough to follow his analysis to the inevitable conclusion? Of course, how could they - reis and randakar could never be packmates .. :D

Oh, I know. I suck as a wolf. Transparant as glass, if you know what to look for.
What surprised me was that nobody else seemed to want to believe that :D

You know, it could have been worse for you. about 36 minutes ago, the GM sent us all a PM telling us the standing hunt order was not valid and we would not hunt tonight if we did not send in a hunt. The standing hunt order that I set of all the players in the game minus the wolves.

That would have meant that we would have went into another day, at 5-4...

None of you deserved this except possibly reis :p enkhuush subbed in so I couldn't do anything about that. I didn't think reis was one because he was repeatedly bandwagoned. You and randy I knew were wolves. If it wasn't for having such an inactive village you wouldn't have won a stalingrad.

Still, I'm not bitter; congratulations on winning a text-based game about imaginary animals in the role-playing section of a war-games forum :)

P.S. Why did you vote reis early on, randy?

What happened on day 2 was especially hilarious. I had instructed the pack that we might have to sell reis out, the way he kept getting bandwagoned. When Rysz posted his analysis pointing at Reis and that bandwagon formed EL and me decided to execute the sellout. But with that big a bandwagon, that early, the village does what it always does in that kind of super bandwagon situation - run up someone else. Meaning a neat tie was formed with zero wolves on the counterwagon, allowing reis to save himself :D

How would that have been worse for me, exactly?
I would have tried to get randy and then you lynched, I doubt I would've got all of them, but it would be better than this abortion of a villager performance :(

I agree, it was like the village wanted us to win with that. I had written Reis91 off at that point, and set myself out to make it look like I had no connection to him, and it did work. Well Marty knew 2 of the pack, he missed the other 2 completely.

Still, why is everyone running Reis91 up all the time?

Well...ummm... my, erm, strict code of honour doesn't allow me to consider such things

Because we might have been able to go after you, I suspect.

By the way, I kept you alive on purpose. I didn't want this game to be 'an abysmal abortion' - I wanted a decent game. So we hunted inactives and people who had it coming, mostly ;-)

Because you appeared very certain that Reis91 was not a wolf, so all we had to do was get 1 more village lynched and the wolfs would win.

Honestly I agree that would have been a lot better, as you would have been fighting for every inch, but winning today was a little more important.

Look, I never said I was certain reis wasn't a wolf, I simply said he wasn't the best choice based on the voting, that randakar was a better option. If you kept hunting villagers eventually you would narrow down the list of those who had voted for reis, and that might have put him back in my mind, although I still would probably have defended him, I admit. In a village this inactive the goodies were always going to be facing an uphill struggle when the seer died. I played badly but I'm not going to take all the blame for this defeat.

No, you where not remotely the person that caused the defeat, you helped us make it happen, but it was the rest of the villagers that did it to themselves.

Randy, you doing the new lite or should I?

Randy, you doing the new lite or should I?

I can start one tomorrow, but if you feel happy to start one earlier feel free.
