yep, i am hunted, but i have to admit: it was exciting and fun. thank you guys for playing.

Yup, I agree with you. Sadly I have to sleep in the deadline times. Also I have to rest well to recover from my workload.

Oh get stuffed Boris. If I was a wolf, I'd of lynched someone else instead of Enky and the wolves would of won yesterday.

Vote Boris ze spider.

Vote Boris ze spider

because I know I'm not a wolf, and jonti does not appear to me to be one.

hmm, this thread needs more popcorn material.

Official votecount. The time is 1859h. Deadline may be upon us, or still take some time.

boris (2): jonti-h [263], walrus [264]
jonti-h (1): boris [262]

no vote: no-one

Such a shame that we will lose this one.

Define we?
If you do actually mean the village, it's entirely your fault for voting on me when I'm obviously not a wolf.

I shall say nothing more in this thread until the morning as alcohol and posting on forums is an explosive mixture.

The Final day

Yeah, the line is dead...

The fire in the center of the fireplace has already gone out, and so has the discussion. Never was there a more silent last day. The GM went inside for a drink, and when he came back, everyone was still sitting just the same, with their fingers already pointing to the same person they were pointing to when the GM went inside.

Fine. Rocks fall. Everyone dies.

Boris is lynchd by the wolf and the other villager. Yup, he was no wolf. The last wolf devours jonti, but it was a pitiful meal.

Walrus won, he is the only remaing person alive in this village, which henceforth is now known as walwolf-village.

Winner:

walrus, the wolf

How did the new rules work?

Boring, this WW was. Moral of the story : Do not have me killed early. Better yet, do not have me killed, ever.

That is not the moral. Might I make a note that my mother did ping both wolves yesterday, before the wolves hunted her? She managed to get two wolves killed (she voted trespoe the 3rd day, and she got all villagers to vote enkhuush yesterday).

It is exactly this kind of remarks why you get hunted and run up so often and why my sister called you WW moron #1 of the moment. Again, look at my mother. She complimented walrus on a good game, instead of whining about the fact the wolves killed her just the night before she could have a deserved victory.

Now, did you want to say something to me a few days back?

======================================================================

On another note:
how did you players and ghost think this rule-variant worked? Did I set the variable deadline too wide? Should it not have a variable deadline at all? What did you think about the one-votechange-only rule?

So, walrus, when you made that three way tie .. was it really an accident? :D

@Rysz - to be honest, all it really seemed to do was slow down the game. We nearly had big ties on at least 3 separate days because of it. Normally, during the day the vote converges on two or three candidates. That dynamic was gone completely here. People don't move their votes so easily anymore.

Now, did you want to say something to me a few days back?

Thought I did, but luckily for you, I can't remember anymore.

Plus, I did not whine. I judiciously projected an image designed to dis-encourage people to hunt me. I tried intimidation, now I try to appeal to their character. Shotgun approach, one may call it.
If you're looking from quality whining from my persona, I advise walrus's big game. Still, I recognize I don't hold a candle when faced with AOK-whine or I5 whine. And I was recently surprised by randakar whine in both his Big and in the last one, it is most excellent and original whine. Still haven't found samples of Rysz-whine, though.

Now, the truth is that this game was boring. I don't know the reasons, if it had to do with who died, or the setup, but I'm just making a somewhat obvious statement, not apportioning blame. The best moment was when we had randakar using your account, but otherwise, Torn's Lite was more interesting.

You are not AOK or jonti. If you want to get people to hunt you, I suggest you try other ways. Also, I didn't see it as "whining", but as a misplased feeling of superiority, arrogance. That only makes people hunt you more. Randakar's "whine", was a caused by tiredness and disappointment. He has been a wolf too often of late, and having a month-old baby takes a lot of energy.

And you can wait long before you see a Rysz-whine (alhough this is getting close)

@Randakar: yes, I agree with you. I hoped that with having less votes, the signifance of a vote would increase (something reis mentioned in the beginning), and voting packmates to clear yourself would get more dangerous. Still, I am not really convinced the game was slowed down by the vote-change rule, since there was still lots of potential for votechange, but even then people almost never took it. Also I had hoped that getting less votes, would mean more discussion.

Before drawing conclusions, I hope to hear from more players and/or ghosts.

F**k me gently with a chainsaw. Walrus really does have no idea how to vote, and he really is as thick as a whale omelette.
