Ofcourse I was joking about the mass tie-suicide. And I still think it is good practice to always first test a JL claimant.

Vote Jens to hang jonti tomorrow if it's a lie

Vote Jens to hang jonti tomorrow if it's a lie

Jonti is lying, and I guess he is a wolf or the person contacting him is a wolf claiming to be the seer and ensure the lynching of a villager so they win today.
Lynch me today and the village will loose today cause this is the last day to parity.

Why should I deny something when it is a lie.
If I'm a wolf then EURO and Lemeard must have forgotten to notify me.

If you get me lynched today the village will lynch you tomorrow for outing a villager.

Oh really?

Alternatively, you are bang to rights as a wolf.

The only people who know how many wolves there are, are the wolves. You just confirmed that you are a wolf. Congrats.

Indeed.

But I would think it would be likely there are the normal number of 4 wolves, but even with 5 wolves. <snip this after finding out the first page was not updated>

Oh euh.... someone did not update the first page yet!!!!!!!!

Damn, that would make parity tonight, if there are (which is logical to assume) 4 wolves.

The one moment where a JL claimant should ever be doubted. This day is critical.

One wolf could win by trying to be a JL claimant. But how do we know? There is no way a simple villager could know he would be fooled by the wolves.
So there is only one option. Double lynch both jonti and Jens.

If jonti is JL and right, we lynch one wolf, bringing us to 7 players, no parity
If jonti is wolf and tricking us, we lynch one wolf, bringing us to 7 players, no parity.

This would kill off a JL member, and I hate to do this, but I think it is the only fail-safe option.

hdk: shame on you for bringing the village to this point already!

Rysz. do not be so daft.

Seriously, you are not stupid, so why act it?

I outed a wolf FOR PITY'S F**KING SAKE and you vote me

You are indeed the wolves' chew toy.

This really pisses me off actually - I risk my neck to out a wolf, and the threat doesn't come from the wolves at night, but by people during the day. You create the perfect bandwagon to get me hanged and let the wolf Jens off the hook. What do you think will happen huh? The wolves will snipe to kill me and leave the wolf alive.

No, I am not. And you should know better. Even you would not trust an outing at such a point in time. Rather come with counter-arguments if my reasoning is flawed.

The tie will never happen too easy for wolves to snipe me if jonti is a wolf, he could also be a villager that have been contacted by a wolf, but not knowing who we can't do anything about that. If he is a villager we end up with 2 dead villagers and a wolf victory possibly if it's a 4 man pack.

Edit: Also haven't 8 people died? even if he is a wolf and the tie happens they hunt 1 player makin the village 6 people three of which wolves and still parity.

Edit2: sorry just me mixing up the games:eek:o

HAHAHA! This is f*ing brilliant! Both players are countering it, even if I have shown that lynching both will guarantee the village has another day, while only lynching one of them plunges the village into uncertainty.

That gives food for thought though, because somehow it would not make sense for both of you to do so, if only one of you would be a wolf. I have to think it over again.

EDIT: Well, not really ofcourse, because not every player is noble like dublish, who once offered himself to give the village the certainty of not ending the game that night. Many players (and not without reason ofcourse), would first try to keep themselves alive.

Oh, and jonti:

Sorry mate, I know that you know my weak points, and here and above you try to work on two of them ;)

And regarding the snipe, ofcourse I will be ready to countersnipe, and so will be other villagers.

You are.

You want me to attack what passes for logic in your post? OK then.

You make the utterly preposterous suggestion that I would out a villager now, when there is no clear leader in the vote. Why would I need to if i was evil? The wolves would have a decent voting block, and so could do what they wanted, with a snipe if need be.

You make the assertion that it is the fail safe option, well that is bollocks. All you do is deny me another victory, which yes, really pisses me off. I put my ass on the line to out a wolf, and yeah, I expect Jens to vote me sure enough, but you? Unless you are a truly poor wolf, you have nothing to gain from that.

You are a wolf, you were scanned by the seer, and so was I. Surprisingly, i was scanned as a villager. Now sit down, shut up and get hanged.

@Rysz;s edit: Utter piffle. I am not trying to work on your weak points, the wolves are using them. I wasn't working your weak point, I was pointing it out, so that you can do industrial sized grovelling when i am proven innocent. All you seek to so is rob me of a victory, that i actually bloody deserve for putting my arse on the line.

Wrong in my post above I didn't mix up 8 people have died and even a wolf in the tie will lead to a village loss.

2 in he lynch, one hunt

9-3= 6
3 wolves 3 villagers.

Village will loose even with a tie betweena wolf and a villager.

Then you must die, since you are the outed wolf, and I am the cleared villager. I am still curious as ot how you know the number of wolves though.

I'm assuming, stupid.

For all that I know there might be none wolves and EURO and Lemeard just do what they find funny. To tell a seer that a villager is a wolf, when in reality there are none seems like a something they might do to have fun their last game.

As much as I would like you to have your victories, being the unlucky guy to out a wolf is always just that. Bad luck. You know that, and how many times have I been killed by the wolves while I should have won. I especially remember the game with hdk as seer and me as spokesperson with both AOK and TT as scanned wolves. We really thought I would have deserved to win that with the village, but I just realized I signed my death warrant the moment I outed AOK. So be it. Just like AOK said yesterday about Dollhouse, the victory will come at another, probably less deserved, moment.

And I just did what would be the most logical. Not taking the gamble of trusting one of you, leading to a 50% chance of victory, but prolonging the critical moment by killing both, including the wolf.

Wolves voting together? It is an old argument, but has it really been seen lately? What if it failed, the whole pack would be exposed. Much safer to bet on the "always trust JL outings route", which I first followed as well.

I am really curious to what other people say about this. How would they decide in this JL-claimant-on-parity situation? Would they follow you, would they tae the gamble, or would they play on safe as well?

Let's put it in a broader perspective. Why are we actually on parity already? Because yesterday another player did something that is both risky and stupid, and certainly not something a VILLAGER would have a reason to do. So logic dictates it was a wolf who did so. And he could give enough reasons why he would not be a wolf to do so, but that is not what matters. The fact that no villager would do it, says it all.

But wouldn't it be risky? Ofcourse not, not with a "JL outing" the next day. A JL outing that the same player actually placed emphasis on this evening.

It all fits together logically.

GM!!!!!! Could you PLEASE tell us clearly how many players currently are alive? Because the first page is a bit unclear on this part, and I would think it would be an important piece of information.
