Final Day

After weeks of searching, wondering what the hell happened with the fortress, the day is finally here. We stand before a copper door. On the door there are engravings but it's too dark to see what they say or must represent. But it seems most of them look like enormous animals.
Next to me is Slender. I look into his eyes and I see for the first time on our adventure that he's frightened. No it's worse he's scared the dwarf out of it.

I finally take the courage..."Let's do it" I open the door.
And and there is nothing. No wait it's a hall. We go trough it and there is another door at the end. It seems it's also from copper. And by the look of it, it has nearly the same engravings. Enormous animals...and there is something under them......it's too dark.

We open the door and got blinded by the light. As I walk inside the room I hear voices. Are those dwarfs? It seems like dwarf words... I begin to see things. A foot..It's a foot in front of me..but it's big!!! It's bigger than me!
Before I could understand whats in front of me I heard someone shout something and the next moment The thing in front of me run into Slender and kicked him against the wall, killing him instantly.

Out of desperation I run...I run back to where we came from. Away from...yes now I know what these things ware...Elephants!
The moment I got outside I noticed i'm surrounded.
There are more of those beats outside! With Dwrafs on them!
"In the name of Amrok!" One of the Elephants is coming for me...his foot is above me.... "What is GOINg on...MEeeEErcc.......

The End

You lynch Mosby the villager
You hunt Slinky the villager
All villagers die....

GG all! Thank you for hosting HDK. Just a couple of points from my side.
@ Floris - good job on picking out two guys from the wolf pack, but I really did vote randomly on Teep the first day. I always try to vote by date number and if that is not available by month. I do not think I even realized he was on my pack.

@ sbr - I was suppose to also vote snipe (obviously in favor of the wolfs) but what I told you about the clock was 100% true, my clock showed that I was already past the deadline, only after a while I realized it was about 5 minutes fast

@hdk - For you statistics I won three games (including this one) not 2. If you do not belive me I can provide you with links, otherwise if you could update it to the real amount it would be great!

So I am afraid no magic on my part was involved....

Split I haven't updated the Lite wins in a while...will do tomorrow.

Floris you did well don't give up! You found two wolfs thats more than I did in my first 7 games!

I loved the amount of RP in this game and again congrats to the winners!
Especially AVN. Not for killing a packmate but for finding the seer.

edit: Who's next for GMing? I won't gm now for a while :)

OH SHIT!
I told you AVN was a wolf earlier, but I didn't have time to push it...

I was getting very suspicious of him, but I couldn't fit him with two packmates. I never would have guessed two wolves would have voted Teep. :eek:o I was pretty sure about Jester180 and AVN was giving me a really weird vibe. However going back on what I said earlier, would make me look very suspicious and I still couldn't find the third packmate. I decided to let AVN run free for the moment and just go after Jester180. That didn't work out as planned.

At least FlorisDeVijfde wasn't completely right :D

It's been a long time since I played Werewolf, but I was watching this to get myself back into the spirit now that it's summer and I'm bored. Interesting game. I must say that I had Floris and sbr pegged as wolves--sbr just on a hunch, and Floris because I didn't believe AVN and the wolves would have hung a packmate (though I found the idea really tantalizing!) and I figured that the wolves would have hunted Floris had he been a villager to create the illusion of trying to silence a voice against them. Clearly I'm still rusty!

Join the big WW nao!

Hmmm.

Congrats to the winners I guess. It worked but I will never be convinced that that was the best pay on the first day with the Seer still alive. I was starting to get suspicious of AVN because he should have been hunted if he was a village, but Jester and Mosby were still better targets; with so many suspicious of AVN you would think he would have been lynched. :eek:o

@Floris: While you "spotted" two wolves I wouldn't use the same system very often in the future. You can occasionally pull a deuce when you hit on 19, but if you try to make a career out of it you won't get very far.;)

Yes join me and Hellvinks big game :D

Ah, I remember when I needlessly killed a packmate.

I was a noob. :p

Sorry Slinky! :eek:o

Normally I wouldn't lynch a packmate, but in this game there were a number of reasons, on which I will not elaborate, to do it.

In retrospect I feel that what I did was wrong and unethical.
Therefore I have already sent my apologies to Teep, who luckily accepted them.

Most interesting point in the game was when tweek informed the village (and the wolfs !), that he was a member of the JL. That pointed me to jonti-h as the seer (they are friends in RL). jonti-h was one of the options for hunting anyway that day, but the choice was simple once tweek did his outing.

After that day we simply hunted players who were cleared as villagers, so that the group of potential/likely wolfs stayed as large as possible.

@the_hdk : Thanks for GM-ing :)

Yes, that's common practice (you are not the first one who is saying this). If I'm a villager I'm hunted on the first or second night. That happened in my last 5 or 6 Lite games as a villager and I can assure you that it gets quite boring.

However I do understand why it's happening and I don't see a possibility to stop it.

Therefore I can announce now, that I will retire from WW.
And it feels good that I can do that with a victory :)

Strange, I knew it worked the other way. I know that punk and tweek, when they are wolves or seers, put their first orders for jonti, eachother, Lem or even me. But jonti played WW before he met those guys (as far as I know, or those guys started playing WW much later), and so far I have known jonti to not favour those in his night orders. I will have to change that bit of knowledge ;)

:( Don't quit on account of that. jonti has often the same problem, but he still continues. I like your playing (you are very good!), and I would hate to see you leave this game :(

But, if you must, I am glad we had the chance to have you as a player here. And I sure will see you more often on meetings :D

This. Really, please don't quit. Take a break, retire from Lite, whatever don't quit on us. :(

I think sbr was talking about you being the next cleared goodie (because of you lynching teep) who should have been hunted and not about your unfortunate habit of being hunted. ;)

Heh, I found it funn how alkthough I have been playing linger than some people, I am still not a "vet", mostly because I am rubbish but still.....
Also, thank you for an Interesting Game.
