And with that, the process was complete. The computers on the LAN network were very different, but what occurred on each was the same. Hearts of Iron III was corrupted. The exe was modified to spoof the checksum, and various data files were changed. Dozens of provinces were stripped from the respective borders of France and Spain, and out of those, Andorra was born. Shortly after, the game began.
> Jester180: Hey, what happened to my provinces? What is that grey blob doing here?
> Spain AI: Good question. Some of my provinces seem to have been stripped too.
> Jester180: I'm checking the information right now.
> Spain AI: It's called Andorra.
> Jester180: Wow! You're so fast!
> Spain AI: It was merely a matter of a double pointer deference, and a call to strcpy_safe(char*, char*, int, int).
> Jester180: Erm, OK?
> Jamie: How strange, I seem to be Andorra. Oh well. Hey, why do I have so much money and so many resources? Must be buggy. Oh well, it's too late to restart our game. Might as well live with this bugginess.
