If I were lying I could easily have one of my packmates pose as the Seer. Since he's the real Seer we do not want to reveal his identity. If you'd played a few more games of Werewolf you wouldn't be giving me this nonsense, because this is one of the most basic rules of WW. If the Seer outs himself today, the wolves will hunt him. This will really hurt the village tomorrow because there will be 3 wolves out of 8 players. We need the Seer's scan tonight if we are to lynch another wolf tomorrow. All you can do is keep repeating your story and insisting to see who the Seer is, which won't happen unless we're about to lose the game anyway.

I dare your packmates to support you publicly. Then we'll know who to lynch tomorrow.

The bottom line is, noone is willing to verify your story because the only story you could come up with was that you're the Seer. And that's after Raczynski accused you and voted for you. The you came up with a forged PM hours after your annoncement, which if you really had your PMs you would've posted them like I did. And finally, you've been telling me that maybe I'm a villager who is being played by the wolves. I'm not, because I've been incontact with the JL for 2 days now. There is no way the wolves would have don esomething like that.

And guess what: what you're doing is exactly what I did in my last game when I was a wolf. I forged a PM and I told the JL spokesman that he was tricked by the wolves. And now you're doing it verbatim.

P.S. your forged PMs exactly follow the format that I posted in, except they don't have the time stamp which the forum gives you when you backup your PMs.

HDK is only a scanned wolf according to you, and you have 0 confirmation for it. I, on the other hand, am in a JL of 3 people, 2 of whom have already revealed themselves. I will not give you the name of the Seer. If he wants to, he can go ahead and reveal himself.

I think that should not be necessary. What the wolves need today is for the village to lynch a villager, in which case they win. After your Crovaxian slip last night and your vote for snoopdogg, you were already looking like a very good suspect. So it makes sense that you would make a fake announcement: if the village trusts you, you win the game. If they don't, they will lynch you, but this way the baddies only lose 1 guy who was already threatened by being lynched anyway.

that would be a nice compromise you all lynch me but punk and vLN promise to hunt HDK

again I ask that if you guys (and I don't mean hdk punk or vln) don't believe, me to make a tie between me and hdk or punk. you won't lose anything because if vln is right and they have a seer. you still got a wolf(me). but if I'm right you guys lynch the seer but also get a wolf (hdk) that way you guys live till tomorrow and then you can see who is rightme.

btw very contributing post if it really is an important decision wouldn't you be a bit more contributive in your post afterall you are the one who confirms vLN's story but nothing is heard from you.

The most logical thing to do would be to preempt the JL by posting a fake announcement, which would actually win him the game. Jester, this is precisely what I did in my last game, when I was a wolf. Come to your senses and think for a bit before you make a decision. "VLN lied to me once" is a ridiculous way to decide when the game is in this stage.

Also I never said you'd lied to me once, which you have, I just said you have an ability to mislead the village or people to suit your own needs. Whether you like it or not you have used faked PM's in the past, how often I could not say.

The best solution would appear to be lynch hdk and snow white. If Snow White is the seer then it won't really matter as the wolves would hunt him today anyway. If it turns out Snow White is the seer then we have the names of at least 1 wolf and a highly probably other wolf, vLN.

Given the village dies tonight if we don't hit a wolf and this appears the only way to test either of your arguments it seems the best solution. I however will not be around at the deadline as I'm off to see 'Inglourious Basterds' so won't be back until a few hours afters after the deadline.

Second, in the advanced posting mode, you hit the "quote" tag in the second feature line above where you are actually typing. It will pop up with [ quote] [/quote] (without the space in the opening quote) and you type in whatever you are quoting.

Then, you can do this: [ quote=Snow White] blah, blah, blah [/quote] which without the space before the first "quote" will appear as this....

blah, blah, blah

And last, you can do as I did above and just manually type in the quote tags instead of having to go into advanced posting mode.

I just about forgot about another quoting technique.

When you hit the quick reply button, you can then hit the botton at the bottom of the quick reply boxed called "quote message in reply?". If you hit that, it will automatically quote the full message you are replying to without having to load up another page.

You'll end up with the above effect.

That's a stupid thing to say. No, there would not. If they lose Snow today, the wolves still have 3 players out of 8, which means they can win tomorrow. If any of them confirm Snow's story, they will reveal themselves and compeltely screw up their chances. This comment alone makes me think that you're his packmate.
If you're a villager, then you truly deserve to lose for trusting a fake JL announcement. I made one just like Snow's in my last game, but apparently you never learn.
