Well, this was a waste of time.

I'm sorry, but I have to be leaving you people for a while now.

I can't GM the next game.

Why are you leaving us? We might all be lost and wander around in a desert without your wise guidance. :p

So, who is going to GM the next game? Are you up to it Jens? TT? Is Johho back? Slinky? Illiria? Someone else?

We must fulfill our WW addiction! :p

Well, it's not like you take it anyway.

I can't sleep.

Does anyone have any objection with making a game with the setup I used in the last game I GMed? The one with the superbaddies that create their own pack?

Hmm, I think I better read those rules before I answer that one :p

Don't tell me you don't remember this game. :p
I remember, but I wanted to recheck the rules before I gave an opinion.

It was a fun game, but I don't think those rules will work as well with a low turn out. Voting analysis will not be possible for the first few days since there are no packs yet and after the first few days the game is half over if you don't have more than twenty players. With the turn out of the last few games in mind, I don't think the height of summer is the time to run a game with those rules. Other than that, I don't mind and I would of course join the game :D

Well, who said anything of a low turnout? ;)

I plan at least 40 players before I start the game, perhaps more.

No, in fact I would love it. I just read that whole game, and it seemed like pure fun.

Edit: "WW: The Werewolf Within" right? Lots of wierd stuff happening.

Yes, that one.

I don't think that hunt should have counted. The lynch takes place before the hunt, and if the potion doubled one wolf's parity points, and that was enough to reach parity, then the pack would have reached parity before they lost a member to the hunt.
The way I played it, was that since Lord_D was a wolf going for parity, he didn't drink his potion until the wolves turn in the nightly orders. If he had chosen the brutal use, he would've taken it at the lynching, and if he had done the "overpower" use, he would've taken it during the wolves turn again.

How are you possibly expecting to get that many people to show up? Convince Lemeard to join so that will shock everyone else in the forums so much that they will automatically join without thinking?

You think too highly of Lemeard. He's just a regular player like the rest of us. ;)

The potion is irrelevant. Once the goodie is lynched, parity is achieved. That's before any night orders.

At the time of the lynching (before the hunt and potion), there were 5 baddies and 11 people total. Not enough baddies for 1:1 parity.

After the hunt, there were 4 baddies and 10 people total. Still not enough for parity. But with Lord_D's potion, that puts us at 5 baddies and 10 people. Just enough for 1:1 parity.

Before the lynch: 5 baddies, 7 goodies
After the lynch: 5 baddies, 6 goodies
After the hunt: 4 baddies, 6 goodies

Either I'm missing something or you are. I'm willing to keep an open mind here. Maybe both, as I think I just contradicted myself.

Yet I still think I'm right. Just about something totally different now. I'm going to bed.

I think we are both missing something here, while we are both right using our own methods.

I started to explain it in a baddie/goodie way, but then it didn't add up correctly. So I just reverted to the baddie/total way I used at first, and it added up fine. I don't know how those two different methods are creating unequal numbers.

Either way, the baddies win, it is just a matter of deciding if Lord_D wins.

This is so exciting. So was the game ended before it should have been?
My guess is that in counting the potion's effect the GM forgot to add 1 to the total number of players, thinking that it was 5 on 5, whereas, really, there were 6 goodies.

This would explain how he could get different results when counting baddies/goodies and baddies/total. It is clearly impossible unless he forgot to add 1 to the total.
