On the experience with Scan Redirectors:
With the Scanner Holocaust at the beginning, there wasn't much opportunity to use these. It was only used one, by Hax, and it saved Jon from a wasted night. I still think it is a good trait, and could be used again. Too bad we couldn't test it in this game.

What are your thoughts?

It did save my scan.:)

Yay, we won! I would've been lynched tomorrow for sure. It was hard to divert the attention from me, because obviously Ciryandor was the best suspect after me, but he was my contact in the Italian pack. I contacted them through Lemeard when he was outed. We were quite lucky on the last day, not all players would've bombed their own side like snoop did and also that vLN was absent, I would've probably died by his hand.

Anyway, nice game, thanks to Kriszo for GMing. I think this is my third victory out of last four games or something. I'm on a streak here! Very nice play by Ciryandor to get jonlucero on our side and also by marty99, who flew so under everyone's radar.

By the way, I love this post :D :

Being totally played by someone is part of the Werewolf experience. Of course, the better part is being the player and not the playée.

Lesson learned. In WW, never trust anyone unless scanned and cleared. If the seer gets killed, nevermind thinking about trusting anyone at all.:D

Kriszo, did you make it so that if euro and jonluc scanned each other at the same time, they'd both know they'd been scanned too? Otherwise euro just went crazy.

I think EURO went crazy, it isn't exactly a shocker. :D

He also vanished on one of his mysterious missions the other day, maybe he knew he wouldn't be able to finish the game and figured he would go out with a bang.

After only one pack remains, all cultists, sorceres, and even sorc's apprentices count toward parity. I belive it is in the rules.

I actually thought before this day that EURO had been extremely lucky, pinged a Sorc apprentice, THEN pinged the Priest, and was /facepalm-ing the fact that the Priest hadn't found him yet.

okryosy I demand an explanation why leader lynch me!!
You should ask Syber_sid, he was the cause of that with his fake outing and then blaming you. (unless it actually was you that tricked Syber_sid)

No, the only one to know he has been scanned would be a SA person. They happened to scan each other on the same night, but what exactly went on behind the scenes I don't know. Much less what went on inside EURO's head.

He actually sent in an order to leaderlynch the one of you who does not win the voting, to screw with possible snipers.

Any particular reason why I was hunted so early?

Just asking.

This one I happen to know. It was totally random.

In hindsight my main mistake was twofold:

1) Not checking marty's story better. I had him on likely villager based on votes, but the research on it was shabby. I was spending much more time looking into Ciryandor, who was very high on the suspect list but was getting the benefit of the doubt over snoop.

2) I seriously considered leaderlynching Ciryandor the last day. Several times, in fact. I should have gone with my gut and just done it, especially when it became clear that snoop would brutalize me anyway. That last bit should have told me something.

Again, ignoring my gut gets me into trouble. Ah well.
At least I made life interesting for the baddies ;-)

To be honest, I still think I didn't do bad at all considering the state of the village.
I do hope I'll get the last mile right too one day. :(

Damn, I was right about 2 of the 3 wolves, but marty was at the bottom of my list. I can't post during the day, so I have zero leverage in convincing people as to who should ultimately be lynched :( Otherwise things might have ended differently, especially with jopi and cyriandor.

Edit: randakar not using his leader ability to save himself makes absolutely no sense. One of the worst plays of this game.

True, not leaderlynching someone else... :p

The shocking part was the conspiracy theory they cooked up to get me lynched. I figured the village was doomed when everyone bought into all that bull about a priest contacting a wolf, who gave the info to the sorc, who outed him, only to be contradicted by the wolf who'd supposedly given him the priest in the first place. It's something I'd have expected EURO to come up with, not some of the other, wiser players we had in this game. The really galling part was that I was a wolf, which could only serve to convince the geniuses who thought that scenario up that they knew what was going on. When the village managed to lynch two wolves a couple days ago, I thought the goodies might manage to win through some incredible stroke of luck, but I'm not surprised the other pack won in the end. Any village that can believe the sort of crazy story that got me lynched should be beated by even a semi-competent pack.

Oh well, now that the rant's over, congrats to the victors. I suppose I should take some small comfort in knowing that I was to be hunted the night I died anyway.

In hindsight, sure.

To be honest I thought it was a bluff for a while. If snoopdogg was a wolf he was an italian one. The italians didn't have a brutal left, by my count.

Frankly I was just too busy digging through old thread posts to do the sensible thing and lynch Ciryandor. After that we'd have had a shot.

Ah well, nobody ever said I'm flawless, least of all me :p

Well, you didn't use your skill either... ;)
So has Slinky been too busy with the Tribune to put up a new game, or have I just missed the announcement? :p
Does he even know this game has ended yet?

Also if EURO really is away for a longer period we need someone else to handle the big GM waiting list. Who has post #2 in the social group after EURO? Or could this be handled in some of the other standard threads like the GM guide, FAQ or zombie spotting threads?

Too few scanners in this game to judge the impact of it. Seems rather harmless so why not try it again and see what happens?
