In that case, I am just going to call this.

Final Vote Count

reis91 - Lord_D.

randakar had his vote negated.

reis91 intentionally did not vote.

The village attempt to lynch the last wolf reis91 who turned on night 0, but failed as he was holding the Silver Knife and cut the rope around his neck.

Stunned and shocked that he was holding the silver knife, randakar the villager who would have turn on, wait for it, night 16, and Lord_D, the other village guard, watch as reis91 runs away into the darkness to try and find another village to go kill the inhabitants of.

The Villager Win Mostly.

Winners:

Randakar, Normal Villager.
Lord_D, Guard.

Reis91, Escaped wolf.

---

For those who are wondering, randakar started on night 6. The formula I used for setting the nights people would turn was rather simple, due to the small numbers in this game.

0, 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, namely a slightly modified Fibonacci sequence.

I figured with all the times and roles to effect it, that would be a good one to use.

The odd point of this game had to be when the wolfs managed to for the first three hunts, hunt the person that was holding the Holy Cross...

And we all win :D

Good game ;)

Thanks for GMing, it's a darn shame activity was so low but I hope we can put an end to this unfortunate trend :/

I honestly have no idea how to write that into the last story update. Randakar basiclly as he was helping pull the last wolf into the tree, handed him the knife so he could cut himself down, when they went to drop him, then stood around as he ran away into the distance, shocked that he had the knife. The whole reason that the last wolf could do that.

Yea, it makes no sense at all.

Well, that's 'interesting' game rules for you.

Thanks for the game EL, I think the whole idea of passing items around in an attempt to clear people really is a good one. It allows for infinite amounts of manipulation, it seems. Which is good in a game like this :)

The exact implementation of it leaves a bit open for debate, mostly because I can easily see a wolf selling out his pack or a JL spokesman selling out the JL just because he has this "I win regardless of how this ends" item in his hands ..

It does need some refinement, but that is something you can only learn by testing the rules in a game.

I agree that the two items added an interesting aspect to this game, and if we had more people active would have really effected things.

Well, all I can say is.. too many inactive players.

I have to agree with this. When there were five baddies I thought we had won. We could control the voting (with the cross in a goodie hand, the votes were equal), but then I noticed that two wolves were absent making controlling the votes not an option. I stayed quiet during the day, figuring that a lot of villagers were also absent and that we could make a decisive swing at the deadline. it would have worked, if I hadn't forgotten about wintertime. *oops*

I liked the rules, but the current setup needs serious tweaking before being used again. I know Eternaly_Lost had expected more players and that would probably have made the game more balanced and interesting. Also the rules about the passing of objects need to be changed. This way they can be seriously abused. One thing I would like to see, is that the vote of the person who holds the cross during the day is not counted, but that person is not revealed in the update and the cross may have moved on by then. It adds a bit more intrigue and it would be harder for a goodie to prove himself.

Anyway I had some luck with finding the wolves the first night and then exams interfered and my attention wavered. As soon as they were over I found the priest and guard. All in all I am happy, it seems my old form is returning. I also liked the activity cobalblue and reis91 generated, though sometimes I had no clue as to what they were going on about :p I will try to match their activity next game, so be warned.
I also can't believe reis91 survived till the end, he was to me the most obvious wolf, but congratulations :D

You could also have passed it by pm and accepted before me, in which case, even if I accept both of your offers, I'd still get lynched. Damn, I'm not the one thinking like a wolf here...

Accept all knives offered to me by Lord_D and randakar. Hope they can cut a rope before you kick the chair from underneath me...

Grats to the winners. Great job.

I was rather silent intentionally. Other people where active enough so there was nothing new for me to say miost of the time. And I hate it when I have nothing new to say. Also, I didn't want to get myself implicated as someone who knows stuff.

Well, that was a fun game, shame on the inactivity though..

Kaetje is next in line to GM.

And Saintis. Saintis seemed waayyy too wolfy to me.

Hmm! Should admit that Reis has fooled me with his paranoia!
But again - I never stated himself as innocent. His 100% trust on me that I was innocent sounded bit odd. That's why I shortly trusted randakar after he voted for me so brutally, heh..
I just said that I wanted to trust Reis for the next day-vote, but I think he still needs to be investigated any further, however as we know then - KABOOM.. GM's wrath punished all the inactives! :p

Three players left, not many scenarios left.

One thing I'm still unsure about - I don't know how the passing of Cross was going on after I died while carrying that thing.

The GM gave it to a random non-wolf player after you died. Which turned out to be Raczynski.

That was terrible luck for us, the cross going out to an inactive. Messed up the voting by not messing with the votes :)

hehe, that is very true. That 3-way tie was very bad for you - a wolf and a sorcerer in there and your vote implicated you heavily as well. There's a good chance I'd have gone after you for it even if the mass autolynching hadn't happened.

I was entirely planning on changing it, but believed you to have the cross, so Slinky would get away and we could win by parity. Had I known, I'd voted Saintis, which would cast suspicion on me and Slinky, but manageable suspicion. Then I'd ask for the Cross, to get myself off the vote list, and start a bandwagon on Jopi somehow.

At one point I PM-ed the GM that if anyone would offer me the cross, I would accept it. The in the thread offered cross should probably have gone to me ;)
