Is the demo only available via steam? I wana try it but don't want to have to d/l steam to give it a shot. I'm a big GG guy.

I've never played Harpoon or fleet command, but reading the STEAM forums it seams that all the people that are being really douchey about NVAC (including you) mentions these games.
EDIT : Also, why dont you register your game so we wont know you are playing a pirated version?

The game uses Steamworks, so even if you buy the game from GG you'll still need to download Steam.
LAME! Oh well. I understand there reason behind it since steam makes them the most money.
Not half enough time though. Needs to be more realistic. Prepping a chopper must take ages never mind a plane.
They did say gameplay > realism

You're one of those who like to sit outside and watch the grass grow? It's a game.. not a combat sim for generals in the navy.. Of course, elements of realism is important but not _everything_ need to be identical to the real world. If it should take as much time to prep a chopper or plane in the game as it does in the real world.. i guess it would be you and a handful of others playing the game.
If you want realism.. maybe you can add some roleplay to your own game. Like.. pretend your calling the hangar; "This is the captain, I'm ordering a chopper in the air right now!! On the double!"
Then wait 20 minutes in real time before you actually launch the chopper.. in that way you get your realism. And by that time your main ship has been sunken by an enemy sub..
Fret not I hope modders can cater for ones looking for the most realistic experience. I'm one of those actually I know I may be the minority but I prefer realism over gameplay any time. I play to get a feel of the real thing so that I can appreciate the real thing as accurate as it is possible.
^My Games on the header of the forum page. You apparently use your "CD Key" which is available on the game's Steam client page (Links).
Assuming he is a pirate because he didnt reg? Thats nuts and paranoid, Heck I never get around to registering half of my games lol. Ease up a bit.
How do we register our games? I've been looking for that option
At the top, under the paradox banner is the menu bar - with News, Forum, My Games, Blogs ... etc.
The "Forum" is currently highlighted as you are in the forum.
click on the my games link, then from the drop down select the game you wish to register. Go to Steam, games list, right click on the game of choice to register - select "View Game CD Key" and click copy to clipboard.
Then back to the web page - paste the data into the appropriate text box, and click submit - voila, should be done (with a short wait).
So I regiserd NW feel better now?.....also I'm a 10yr honerably discharged decorated vet 47yo need to know anything else? LoL... I still think ya'll (I am country also) need to lighten up a bit or at least try decaff :unsure:
