can some 1 tell me all the civs you can choose to be in EU please :)
 
Well ya gotta do some minor file hacking , but that only takes about 3 minutes to do. Even for someone like myself who dosen't really know a whole lot about computers :).

Look at Huszics FAQ section that he hosts.
 
Not Civs as such, rather countries (big and small) that existed in the year 1492 - for instance Granada, Spain, Scotland, Russia, Sweden, Brandenburg, Thuringen, Persia, Tripolitania, Bohemia, Hungary and over a 100 more.

There is a table with all the shields of the countries available from the start at my site (90+) ...

Of course there is nothing to prevent you from creating new nations either.
 
The simplest way is to install the IGC mod for EU - it includes a tool for choosing playable nations. However, then you get all the other changes that the IGC entails. If you don't like the IGC, you will have to edit the files manually.
