Oh, another thing. What with the much smaller armies running around most of the time, leaders just got even more deadly than they were before. Usually, a leaderless - or near leaderless - nation, that was on the defensive could field a hundred-thousand defenders or two and try to utterly crush the dangerous leader who was attacking them, without worrying too much about their causalties. With 1.06 those 100K-200K might be most of their army, since standing armies are generally smaller - a much more dangerous proposition.

A Spain that colonises good will be much more dangerous than in 1.05: Not only will their support limit be higher than most other nations to go with the higher income, they have also just had several leaders considerably boosted :) Beware Spain - possibly the biggest winner, apart from Holland, of the 1.06 changes.
