What France can do?

Playing as France, Germany is really easy to defeat when she attached Poland in 1939... I only spend 8 months to annex Germany and Slovakia (strange... Austria is still an independant countries). I am only at war with Romania, but since there is no common boundary, I let UK to deal with her alone.

Now.. i am thinking what i can do... French tech team is very weak... Germans help me a lot in catching up the tech in all aspect. I can nearly cover all tech of 1941...

but the game is held... what France should do... Declaraing war with Italy will bring +10 dissent... Fighting with SU seems not possible...

what France can do?? keeping on building armament with its "weak" IC? or fighting with Italian?

well, before u go south deploy a strike force to Africa capable of seizing Ethiopia, u cant annex Italy without it.

So you have access to the German tech teams now? If so you will be fine in the tech race. I'd knock Italy out first to secure your southern flank and then take on the SU.

France can do an awful lot, particularly when you have knocked out your main adversary.

With Germany out of the game (and either conquered or puppetted), your IC base should be enough to wear down dissent in a matter of a mere few months, so declaring wars shouldn't be an issue. Now you are at a crossroads, and you could go for :

- world conquest (not a favorite option of mine, but well...)
- go after the rest of the Axis members/potential members
- prepare for a Cold war gone hot with Russia
- try something a-historical (like leaving the allies and starting another Franco-British war)

When I went to war with france against germany, i had the best game of my life

September 1: germany invades poland

September 2nd: About 100 french divisions pour into Rhineland

September 9th, Kassal and muenster have fallen

September 17th Warsaw falls, on the Elbe

September 22nd Berlin falls

September 26th Poland surrenders

October 3rd, massive counter by german units in poland

October 17th, Kassal retaken, 9 divisions barely escape

October 21st, only Cologne is held. stalemate encurs until soviets DoW

that does sound bad ass, i might try a french game
do they get any pre war events that could make them less democratic ?
Also do the events max any sliders for you ?
General slider movement advise? (looks like free market-draft army)

France can also release alot of useful puppets in her starting colonies
