Yep. It's a game soon to hit beta testing, with a projected release around easter.

Take a look in the Mega Meta thread and find the Strategy Gamer Online preview and interview for some more info to catch up quick :)

It is a different game, yes. 1066-1453 Christian feudal dynasties of Europe (will hopefully play like a grand strategy dynastic simulator :))

That is certainly my hope also.

There was a board game awhile back called Blood Royale. I always thought that would be a good computer game - and now CK looks to be that game with extra goodies.:) :)

CK is Crusader Kings. That is a game where characters are the primary tokens, and where you can war, build, appoint and conclude agreements while laws, taxes and advances are the rules of this game (and you may interfere with those as well if so you choose).

However we are working on Crusader Queens at the moment, which is a fantsy strategy set in medievals that starts with a prepositions of a deadly sort of plague that killed all males in the neighbour kingdoms :p.

I don't mind as long as it doesn't postpone CK...;)
 
It will ship ahead. We're not sure if we will keep the "crusader" part of the title though, now that we have such wondeful possibilities opening on other avenues... ;)

Progress Update due tomorrow... if you will post five questions that require us to answer with Yes/No, I can guarantee that the answers will be timely and exact :).
