Sorry to open a new thread about this, but when I posted my question in the "cheapest place to buy this game" thread, nobody answered. Please hurry, I need to know that before the offer ends!!!

What is this: http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-EICP/east-india-company-privateer-bundle ?

It says it's a bundle of the director's cut version and the privateer add-on, but I didn't find any info on both these games (gamersgate gives error message when clicking on them)... Would that bundle (for less than 10€) allow me to play the EIC game plus its addon? What else would I need?

Ideas?

Before Privateer's release those who preordered it got early access to free addon called Director's Cut. That's what the Impulse's bundle is about. Nowadays DC is free for everyone so basically the bundle contains Privateer. It does not contain East India Company which is required to play the addons.

Well, thanks for the clarification. It's a pity, though. I'm still undecided whether this game was for me or not, and a price below the magic "heck, why not?" barrier of €10 would have been the last drop in the bucket... Especially if it contained an expansion... :)

Many thanks for clearing that up. I'll follow the discussion about the next expansion and decide then. :)
