I have just one more question (for now):

Where is the editor? I downloaded HOI2: Doomsday from GamersGate, and in the manual (a pdf file) it says that there is an editor I can use to make my own scenarios included in the install, that should be in the HOI2 folder in the start menu. Well, there's not.

When I looked in the HOI2 directory, there is a file called "editor.exe". I tried running it, and I get a pop-up error message. I searched around on the forum, and I saw some links on google saying something about the editor being a virus, so I scanned it with AVG.

THREAT FOUND!

I really want to use the editor, but, more importantly, what do I do about the "threat found" thing? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall, or is there another solution?

Thank you.

PS: I am running v.1.3, which I believe is the latest version.

Tell AVG that the Editor.exe is not a virus... and that way you can use the editor.

Otherwise turn off AVG temporarily....

I would NOT recommend using the editor.... Use Jamie550's tool instead.
