Imperator 1.5

Hopefully a Lord of the Rings mod with mission trees this time. I'd love to see the Orcs from Shadow of Mordor represented as army based countries that can feud with each-other.

Anbennar 2.

I hope we get a fully completed Avatar mod, I think the mix of centralizing nations and larger character focus allows it to be portrayed in a way that HOI4 and CK3 can't. I figure you could do the 'Avatar's party' as an ABC, but the main trick will be accounting for it being a small size.

I want to see a Witcher Mod, the one for EUIV got abandoned.

An Elder Scrolls mod, I think with the focus on the ability for states to collapse you could maybe set it at the start of Arena and the Simulacrum. The Simulacrum diminishes the Empire's power, Uriel builds it back up with the events of Daggerfall and Morrowind (which can include a dynamic blight ravaging Morrowind) but then the Oblivion Crisis sets everything on fire and you transition to the 4th Era.

they're going to go to the present much like eu4 I would expect. The real question is how far back they will go.
Will it be any good is a different question though.

Anyways, I am curious to see eu5's potato PC mods

I think Ante Bellum will work much better in EU5 since the startdate is earlier, something which the scenarion was clearly meant to represent. I'll also love to see the twins Fall Fate of Islam and Broken Cross make their journey to EU5. Both are interesting scenario's, and both deserve some of the love that the pop system can give them

So I was actually looking into making the 1836 start date mod for like a Vic 3.5 mod but upon further thinking I felt like it was too small of a range in a game the scale of EUV. Instead I was actually thinking of moving the start date back to 1648, just after the 30 years war. This leaves room for a fleshed out American Revolution, Rise of Prussia, Napoleonic Wars, and still clicks into the Vic 3 timeline about halfway through.

I'm quite excited to see what modders release, as EU5 has so many new mechanics that offer very interesting options, such as the international organizations and situations. I'm personally planning to return to modding, after I quit modding in 2018 (or at least stopped releasing public mods). I won't be able to continue with Lex Talionis though, as EU5 already has better versions of many of the mechanics I made for that mod (deeper dynasty and estate systems). I do have some plans that I think could be fun, but they'll take a long time to implement. So I'm mostly just looking forward to trying out other mods early on. I wonder if @AKronblad has any plans for an antiquity mod, as that's what I'm probably most interested in since I never really liked Imperator.

Just like every time I see this, I'm reminded of those stupid eunuch-dominated states.
I'm making an Athla from Age of Wonders mod (high fantasy setting)!
good luck

I'm currently making a Venus-themed map mod for Europa Universalis IV (EU4). Once I've finished it, I'll definitely port it over to Europa Universalis V (EU5).

I hope we may have a dlc or mod that enable player to “role-play" like in Uncharted Waters, Taikō Risshiden,or The roads to Power in CK3
here is some ideas that might be helpful to build such a frame:
1). make main and official caravans and merchant ships as unit entities, so that players can interact with them (raids and trade)
2). based on the landless state mechanism, allow player to play as a "one unit" character (as one pop, and may buy food, ship, weapon from market...)
3). add special events and cultural flavors to building in locations, and randomly generate characters and text for interaction (these characters should not have 3d models, or they can have but most of them should be regularly deleted and only some particularly important ones are kept)
4). making some strong individuals in history as such "one unit” character and also allow players to play them, such as Cortes, Pizarro, Wallenstein, Nurhaci... (these characters clearly have certain independence from state institution)

I think it will be super funny if we can do this, allow player to "role-play" as conquistador, merchant and pirates that formed from nothing.... EU5‘s huge contents of culture and regional market mechanism are obviously a excellent platform, which can also attract many players who like Uncharted Waters style game

Timurids mod could be nice to have them more scripted so they're a more terrifying beast to challenge (if they don't end up already). He is responsible for roughly 17 million deaths and pillaged as far as Smyrna and Delhi.
