My choices:
For Germany, I would be interested in playing Frederick II 1194-1250.
For Sweden, the mid 1200s (ca 1235-1275).
For British Isles, Edward I, Robert the Bruce, William Wallace & Co. (a start date of 1272?)

The question is in the title. Basically, I'm looking to do a scenario and I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas on what to do.

As a big fan of the _Silmarillion_ mod, I think there's a lot to be done with fantasy settings, esp. as we apparently can tinker with the map just a wee ittle bit.

An independant Counts scenario (similar to Kaigon's EU2 IES scenario) would be fun to try, if only to see if it's fun.

The disintegrating empire scenario I suggested earlier and have yet to get to work would be fun.

A modern day scenario with modern country borders and no vassals at start might be fun to do, with all the characters being modern politicians and famous folks. The idea might be that some clever little bomb went off destroying all the world's electronic equipment, sending us back to the 1100's in tech. *grin*, this one would just be funny to see.. the British throne marrying off the Spice Girls or something. hehe

Just some hung over ideas.)

@Barahir, my "Many Kingdoms, Independent Dukes" is almost like IES for CK, except that his dukes instead of counts.

@Tombom, we really should try to combine our enthustiasm in CK scenario building. :D

That could make an interesting experiment... :D

Should it be fantasy with normal CK map or semi-historical thingy or an attempt to recreate historical situation?

I personally prefer semi-historical and fantasy as otherwise you have a lot of research to do. And I'm terrible at research.

How about a scenario where the Ostrogoth, Visigoth and Vandal kingdoms survived? An alternate history without Belisarius and where the Arabs didn't make it as far west as they did historically.

I've just begun working on a scenario where the Roman Empire split up in the 260s.

You can see a map here

Not much

I've done England and just begun on Wales

Also, I'm working on a short history describing all that went wrong in this timeline.

That could be interesting. The only thing is I'm bad at research, and I'm going to lose most of my time after Wednesday. So it's got to be something which you don't have to rely on history too much for.
