We got a look at the world religious map a while back, and I'm curious as to how all the new religions will work, and I'd like to hear from users who know more about this than me. I'm curious to figure out how these will be grouped, and what mechanics they might get? I think it's been said that most of the 'pagan' religions will get a set of generic mechanics for now, but I still wonder what sort of flavor (unique gods or holy sites, or similar mechanics other religions might have) that they might get in the future.

So far the groups I think Paradox has talked about thus far are-
>Christian
>Islamic
>Judaism (not mentioned but we have to assume that'll be treated as a seperate group)
>Dharmic
>Buddhist (currently including Chinese and Japanese Religions)
>Andean Folk Religions

I assume that Meso-Americans will also get a shared religious group. I'm curious though where North Americans, South Americans, the Carribean, and non Aztec-Mayan parts of Meso-America will get.

I have no idea how groups in Siberia or Africa will get grouped, and how Polynesians and Aborginals might get increased content.

I'm also certain we're gonna get an 'old gods' DLC for the old religions of Europe, or at least a mod. I could honestly see fitting European/Near East religions together, given the hellenization that happened in the Hellenic period and Romans.
