The latest beta version is a must if you want to play in MP as everyone seems to play with it...

I guess maps can be downloaded from the host so there is no need to look for them

I doubt there is anything critical beyond latest beta. Some MP games use moddir mods like Hive's Age of Imperialism, but they usually also make it quite obvious.

Throw EU2 cd away and continue playing CK, trying it in MP too :D

supporting Slargos :D

Btw, recently russian publisher of paradox games (they are doing quality work and translation) made a vote at the forum, which one of Paradox games is mostly liked.

EU2 is leading with huge gap and over 50% of all votes.
And HoI, Vicky and CK forums are developed good here too.

Not to advertise my own scenarios or anything... but my 1453 is probably the most widely used pre-1492 MP scenario.

Hive, we don`t use semi-ready products :)

You promised further work on AoI, but then proudly kicked own butt of EU2 ;)

Semi-ready? You're delusional. AoI is fully developed, and works perfectly fine for MP.

Alright, I found my old EUII CD.

So tell me friends, aside from the Patch, what else is out there that I should be downloading for current MP play? What scenarios, etc? I don't suppose anyone has made use of the new edited maps?
 Long time no see :)

Damo is back, go kill them all :D

Might need a little work on the 1337-scenario. Somewhat unbalanced for MP, France is way to strong with all those vassels.

Zag and i played it a lot recently, great fun. More work on it please :)

Sure, me and Zag had a lot of fun playing it.

Problem is that Tonioz kicked our arses as France, cos having 80 in Badboy didn't give him more than 1 large revolt. And his manpower after annexing Spain war far greater than anything a combined Austria (large part of germany, austria, balkans and italy) and Denmark (northern germany, all of scandinavia, finland and baltics) could compeat with.

Heh. Well please don't judge AoI on the 1337 scenario alone - which never really left the beta stage. I never put all too much work in that scenario, the later ones are much better. My personal favorite is 1568, with 1816 and 1492 to follow. 1861 is also fun for a little 2-player Nappy-style skirmish.

If you want to play sometime, gimme an ICQ and we can set a time.
