Well, this post was not named "let's erase india", it's just that no one could think of anything to keep it interesting. Now,for what I think middle east and muslim in general need something different as well, especially after eemoving decadence invasions. But I don't know much about it historically and I can't think of anything interesting. Do you?

My symphathies, but I kinda see why that is. India is a lot less familiar and interesting to many people than Europe or Middle East as a historical region, and it tends to stay isolated in many games. To expand it, you need someone with a passion to work on it. Such as possibly yourself.

Hah I'm totally with you there ^^
Though to be fair, the new features in CK2Plus are the one thing that brought me back to playing in Central Europe from time to time.

That being said, I would have voted to keep India, but I am perfectly fine with it being a submod as long as support for it isn't dropped.
Personally, I find it an important and underrated area in "real" history, but arguably swallow in-game now, because CK2Plus has improved most other areas so much that it feels a little... vanilla :eek:. I still kinda like it, and totally scrapping it would have really annoyed me. Thanks for keeping it as an option.

I've actually toyed with some ideas myself lately, though they're still in the embryonic stages as far as ideas go.

Y'know, stuff like unique events for Muslims in India (e.g. tolerance vs. religious enforcement for example?), events involving trade with Indonesia, Indian rulers giving patronage to one of the Indian religions in their realm (not necessarily the one they follow), maybe some more events unique to each of the Indian religions...

Still very early days, and the current sub-mod project I'm working on feels nowhere near complete. If I do end up doing something with India, it wont be for a long while yet...

I'd suggest moving any discussion to a new thread, as the purpose of this thread has been met for quite some time now.
