True, I should've scratched that. No DLCs for Vicky will happen until Vicky 3 is released :(

Well, by then Id expect new technology to allow for much deeper games. An African and South Asian market will also open for tonnes new strategy game fans to afford and play Paradox games, meaning they get more money for better content for relatively cheaper games.

What I want the most though is the ability to simulate the daily lives of your subjects. Its what makes paradox games unique, adding personality to the world and people.

nothing of all you have posted will happen. There will be only one game left called "The Grand Campaign" reaching from 6000 bc to 3000 ad and they merged with Firaxis. So Sid Meier's - The Grand Campaign xD

I'll only buy it if it has at least 1000 species of trees represented

In a modern mod of the VIC2, there will be a "PC game factory" in Sweden. This factory takes 200 days as its vacation per year.

And f*ck your virtual sister ;)

sister, nieces, satanist uncle, goat, Glitterhoof. i'm still disappointed that you can't go full Oedipus complex or Freudian nightmare with your characters parents and offspring.

ever seen a family tree that looks like the Olympics logo? in VR?

Hoi v= ships needs fuel to work... I will cry that day

Paradox will give in to the constant whining of people unhappy with what they have perceived as their games getting more "casual" so they will go pure hardcore. The GSGs of the near future will be pure data spreadsheets transferred directly to your brain for analysis and real-time response. Finally, a strategy gamer's prowess will literally be judged by the sheer calculation capacity of their minds, as they compete with each other strapped to neurofeedback machines. Netcode will be perfect, so to "desync" from the game will be a euphemism for going insane and "disconnect" for having your synapses fried.

The naval supply system will become more indepth. Players will have to manage a naval resupply system requiring them to micromanage coal and water supplies, as well as making sure that each ship carries enough of the right sort of citrus fruits to prevent scurvy, and produce appropriately sized docks and specialized repair facilities, taking into account the spce available in each harbor. Ocean storms will also be introduced, requiring players to choose between risking their ships to plough straight through a hurricane or going around, remaining in harbor or trying to protect your navy by sending it out to sea. Ships will also routinely require major overhauls, both to upgrade their equipment and simply for repairs, forcing the player to choose the whens and wheres of outages.

Paradox's AI will remain too dumb to live, let alone handle the complex ins and outs of the naval system, so AI troops will just be able to walk on water. Also AI controlled ships will have infinite supplies and fuel onboard at all times and instaheal after each fight and be able to drive on land because pathing through straits is too hard. Also, AI nations will still give right of passage to each other all the time, and now player controlled nations will be forced to give Right of Passage agreements to any AI nation that asks, including nations they are at war with.

some kind of combination of Stellaris and CKII...Essentially, you are the sovereign of one of the successor kingdoms of a fallen star empire. Your ultimate aim is to create a lasting dynasty that will either reconstitute the empire under its rule, or will strike out on its own and lead humanity to greater horizons...

Oh wait. It's already been done...It's called Battletech and ironically Paradox is publishing a version of it.

That’s what I wanted from Stellaris in the first place
