What's marked as read resets every so often

For reasons unknown, every so often what's marked as read resets itself for me to what it was about an hour previously. Doesn't matter which conputer I'm on, but this always happens. Anyone else? Most of the time I can read everything in a subforum, go to the main forum, and the subforum is still marked as unread.

I have the same problem. Kallocain doesn't so she told me it was me and my computer that was weird...

Have you tried clicking in the special forum button+ (i.e:Forum: Current Games: Europa Universalis III)
It is in the left corner.

I have the same problem. It happens when I quit the browser and restart it quite quickly (less than an hour, I would estimate). My workaround is to mark the complete forum read, that my browser can remember (Forum Actions -> Mark Forum Read)

Even that doesn't work for me. I mark everything read, then come back two mins later and it's all unread.

Sounds like a cookie setting maybe. Have you adjusted your browser to be more secure somehow? What browser do you use?

I use Firefox now but it happened with Explorer too. I've fiddled around with every concievable setting that I know of to no avail, and in any case the security setting on my work PC are a lot stricter than home but it still happens no matter where I post from.
