Whaz up with the Soviets??

I'm playing the role as Nazi Germany with my goal to conquer the world.
The Soviets have now declared war on me after my conquer of Poland and I have managed to push them all the way back to Smoleck ( pardon the spelling). I kissed the allies ass so they would back off, with my long term term plan to build the ultimate war machine , then conquer..
I had like a hundred division lead on the Soviets courtesy of the national army comparison and thought to myself " first the Soviets, then the world " and within like 2 years or so they have surpassed me by almost 140 divisions.
What, did every Soviet and their dog sign up to the army after they realized they were in trouble by Germany or what??? and their force pool keeps increasing.
What can I do to retain my advantage?. The front lines outside of Poland ( Or what used to be Poland ) are packed on both ends and I can't seem to keep up with buggers divisions wise.
Any help would be super.

Probably the "Great Patriotic War" event kicking in for Sov. This event makes it a lot easier to produce divs for the commies.

Now you're pretty much facing the same problems as real life Germany so no need to feel embarrased if it's hard to win!

The only thing to do is attack with some armored forces, encircle Russians, kill them off, repeat and so on. Sooner or later you should be at the gates of Moscow.

The key word here, my friend, is "Blitzkrieg". Lightning war. Break through their lines with quick, massive armored thrust, followed by motorized infantry. Cut off their large division stacks on the border, and eliminate them in cauldron battles. Race to Moscow...

Seriously, if you don't knock the Russians out in a year or so, the Bear is gonna get ya...

I confirm, best of all, is starting barbarossa in the south targeting lwow, going down to odessa then going northeast to kiev smolensk moscow then stalingrad and finally leningrad. What you need is strong air support, and at least 12+ PzDiv, you don't need mot. div. (to expensive and brittle), only vanilla inf and big PzDiv. The trick is to punch the hole and surround, waiting for the inf to reach the pz then advance surround etc. etc., normally starting in avril/mai 1941 you are at moscou, stalingrad and leningrad by end of september. In air support i recommend 3 Full fliegerkorps with 3 bf109e and 9 Ju87, one resting, the other two stricking the urss troops.

My favourite Pzdiv is a Pzdiv with At brigade, because of the very high value of the hard attack, i remind you that Ground defense is blocking one point of each attack point until there is none left. When you reach PzIVH and JgPz 88mm you have something around 40pts in HA, if i remember the best unit will have 25pts in GD. Now if you consider the fact that Hard attack deal more damage to soft target, you've got the day. The only case that will not work will be against Mec division, but in 1941, only usa got them.
