When I drop under 0 honor game ends instead of succession

I dropped under 0 honor because of a plot I launched and my clan leader killed himself, but instead of the game continuing with his heir I get a game over screen. (the one that says the Sengoku period is over)

How to reproduce:
Load my game -> declare war on the Ouchi -> wait 1 day -> launch the plot against the Ouchi, -> wait 1 day -> clan leader dies -> game over.

Btw it would be nice to know ahead of time how much honor will a plot cost my when launched( or is it there? I couldn't find it)

If you drop below zero honor, it is game over.

I see, thanks for the answer. I thought the game should continue with your heir in that case.

Anyway the game over screen is still incorrect and could be considered a bug.
