Hi mates, i am having some doubts about an event that it is supposed to trigger war with Yugoslavia. I had the event in late April 1941, and i went with YES WAR!, but nothing happened. It is mid May and still not been able to go for that land. I am on IC vanilla. I´ll install 1.01 when i finish my on going game so...

Is this a problem to anyone else?

Sometime, for no reason, the events do not work as expected or not at all (one time the Poland event did not fire).
Just reload the last save game.
 
Thank you Klausewitz for replaying. I did and this time the event did not fire at all. Is there any way to declare war on Yugoslavia instead of waiting for the event to fire?
 
IIRC Yugoslavia breaks any allaince with you almost as soon as you sign it ("Yugoslavia breaks Pact of Steel").
Since Hungary, Italy and maybe Romania are most likely already your allies at this point with Italy happily attacking Greece, you can just DoW it (since you should have both authoritarian and interventionism at maximum that should not incure a dissent malus).
I don't know though if the Operation Barbarossa Event will then fire as normal (it seems to be connected to this event).
 
Yes i figure it out just as you said but the problem is i am not sure they had that event at all, i do not recall reading that one in the History sheet. And i try to declare war on them by just going to diplomacy and so, but the option is not available. It says you can not declare war till May 1941, the same month i am in. I tried to declare ware usin them and same thing + declaring war on Hungary or Italy (allies of mine) and not possible because Yugoslavia is a democratic state. At this point it seems not plausible to terminate them... :( i guess i will go on with a near soviet intervention.

Did you mod anything by chance?
 
Thanks for your time, no, only sprites, but i do not believe this is the cause of the event not going as supposed. I will figure it out later.
