Sorry guys, I wish I had an excuse to stop for such a time, but I don't. I'm really sorry about leaving you guys out to dry... Anyway, back to it!

After Steve had been reunited with his squad, they were given a few weeks of R&R. They were then sent back to the southern beaches of Norway in case the Germans got any ideas about a counterattack. Meanwhile, the American forces have been pushing the Germans farther north.
November 17, 1941
Steve was listening to the radio Armed Forces Network with the rest of the squad. The mess hall was bustling with activity. After all, these guys had little to worry about. They did their jobs behind the lines during the invasion. This was the time to relax. Something on the radio caught Steve's attention.
"This just in! The Japanese Empire has bombed Pearl Harbor in a dastardly air attack! That's all we know right now...! This is Mitchell Rollins reporting to you from New York City!"
Everyone rushed out of the room immediatly and went to their battle stations. Except Jack and Steve. Jack still sat there at the table, sharpening his knife. Steve put his head down and began to pray for his brother on Midway. Jack noticed this, then walked over to him and patted him on the shoulder.
"Yesterday, November 17th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy, the United States of America was suddenly and delibratly attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." -Franklin Delanor Roosevelt
