Where are my save files?

Okay, i found something VERY weird this day.
I can perfectly load my savegames, yet, i cant find them anywhere in my Victoria map. Scenarios, savegames. Nope, no single on, how is this even possible? anyone has an explanation (want to use that pop-splitter, but i can split the pop if there is no savegame file)

Are you using Vista? I believe they locate in a different place under Vista than in pre-Vista versions.

Check the tech forum I think there are threads about the issue there (I use XP so can't give any advice if it is Vista)

Oi, forgot about the tech forums, yes i do have Vista (against my will, i bought a new computer, and its almost impossible to get XP instead of Vista on new ones)
Could you do me a favor and move it there?

Go to the standard savegame folder, and click on the "show compatibility files" button on the top of your window..that should resolve it.

Okay, that worked, now another thing, how do i get that Pop splitter to work? i chose the save file, and then i have to click on begin, then i get another window where i have to chose a file, while i already chose one, so i cant get further

the second popup is where you create the name for the new file that has the split pops. Just enter a new name for the file and hit enter, and the splitter will create the new file with that name and all the POPs split.
