I have recently joined this forum, after having read AARs for quite some time. However, after I joined, I can't find the AAR section in the forums. please help.

Do you mean that you were able to see the AAR-forum before you joined the forum and now can't see them anymore, despite knowing how to get there, or do you simply not know how to get to the AAR-forum?
I can find AARs using the search function, but I can't find them merely by clicking links.
I also joined after reading some of the AAR's, especially "The Presidents: 1836-1936". First the question is which AAR's are you looking for? Finding "The Presidents" was somewhat taxing, but I just went to Victoria 2 and there should be a thread entitled "AAR" and a whole stream of...well, AAR's!
