Where i find the patches?

I just bought the gane, and tried it shortly. The game rocks !!

However, i have problems playing it for long time. Every 4-5 months it crashes and brings me directly to the desktop, without any msg error.

My computer is a pentium 2 450, 192 Mb ram, RivaTnT video card. I have installed directx 8.0 and when i instealled europe universalis 2, it told me that my directx version was already fine and didn't need to install it from the CD.

I read here that patches have come to 1.04, but only for US versions. I hope some things have been fixed, and hopefully reduced the frequency of the crashes.

Since i am italian, and i bought the italian version, where could i find the latest patch for my version of the game? In the download section of Paradox, i see only the 1.04 version available but only for US.
Is there a place to find previous versions of the patches (version 1.03 maybe?) provided that i can't run the 1.04 on my italian version of the game?

The patches are released by the various publishers. If you have the Ubisoft version, for instance, you get the patch from their site.

I checked the websites of the various pushiers, and i didn't find any previous patches, nor any patch for my version.
To be honest, i found only the US 1_04 patch around.

Leader is the italian publisher for the game, but it keeps no patch of any game.

Ubisoft keeps only the 1_04 version (for US).

If i want to get 1_03 patch, where should i look for? i didn't find the 1_03 patch anywhere, neither the US patch 1_03.

I hope (for my playing) that an installable version 1_03 (if not 1_04) does exists, otherwise how can i upgrade my game to the latest patch?

I think the Italian version is already on 1.04. To be certain, you should e-mail Leader and ask them.

for your crahs, check the "Running problems" thread that is sticky on top of the forum and you will find some solutions for it.

when you start the game, in one of the top corners (I think it's the top left, can't be sure) while loading it will tell you what version it is.

How Many Patches???

I am also unsure about which patches I need. I don't know who did this game (Strategy First, maybe?--I bought it in New York City). At any rate. If I download the 1.04 patch from this site (I have the North American version), do I still need the other, older patches??? Or will just this one new patch also include the older fixes?

the publisher is written on the back of the box. If you were able to install the patch it means you have the good one

And only the latest patch is necessary.

Good news is that i have 1.04 installed already (it's showed in the top left corner as you said, i didn't notice the first time).

BAd news is that then my crashing problems can't be resolved with an upgrade of version.

I still have fear that when 1.05 will come out, i'll have the problem to find the 1.05 italian version cause Leader doesn't keep patches of the games they publish.
