So I am rebalancing/experimenting on the game, but ran into some issue:

  • because I changed settlements ratios, tribes now have the same ratio for settlements as civilised people, where is the four percent located, and can I make so that normally you have certain settlements ratios, but for tribes, it's totally different?
  • Can I make it so that building totally changes the ratio of pops? so that farms/slave states/mines make the territory have 100% slaves, but barracks have 100% freemen?

It is probaly better to join the discord and ask your questions there. As these are easy questions that dont need to clutter this forum thread.
  1. That would mean removing all ratios set in the files except for the government type files. If you do it this way you can make the ratios exclusive to government type.
  2. I think that is possible. But if you have set a ratio of 10% for a government type and that same government builds a building in a province that gives 100% ratio it will never actually reach 100% due to the ratio from the government type.
I hope I explained it a bit. Come to the discord for more in depth help.

well I already hacked around issue #2, as you can simply make it so that buildings give a negative ratio(was a pain to get it working, bet working was it was gotten)

tribes have a base +5% ratio for tribesmen in settlements, meaning that all of their settlements have 50/50 spilt between slaves and tribesmen, I am specifically asking for that +5%, because I need to do some serious reworking.

That specific effect is found in ImperatorRome/game/common/modifiers > 00_hardcoded.txt, line 1002
