Where is the UN rating?

Probably a really dumb question... But where the heck can you view your UN rating? I keep getting mails saying my UN rating is critical because, and in that ledger it tells me the UN is outraged, but I can not find anywhere to show me what the rating actually is now that Im working on raising it. I've been treatying the crap out of everybody, and the mails have stopped, but the ledger still says outraged, but I can not tell if its improving or not.

It's on the statistics sheets. 3rd or 4th sheet, far right column. All it tells you is your standing.

I don't think I have ever played a game and kept a decent UN approval rating.

Country A attacks player....

Country B, allied with country A, attacks you wherever they can....

Player declares war on country B,(which is the definition of self defense) UN approval goes in the toilet....


I gave up on keeping the UN happy after my second or third game..and haven't looked back.

I have, however, found a way to trick the UN into approving.


1. Declare war on 15 or so different countries (in rapid succession, or fast enough that no countries fall before you are done)
2. As countries fall, liberate them, and they will immediately sign a formal alliance with you.

3. Profit from UN rating going up on each alliance formed, and wind up with excellent rating when you are done, even though you just declared war 15 times and slaughtered a million or so people...

Also, in the game setup you can de-select 'Critical UN' which is selected by default. I really can't figure out what effect the UN rating has on the game anyways so I don't know if having a high rating makes any difference.

When my rating tanked... so did my bank account... Im assuming less countries were willing to trade with me because of it.

In my experience, we loan from an invisible world bank which provides loans to us. And if our UN rating is low, it will shun us out. The same pretty much goes for world market. Darn you magical world bank~ always ruining my plan to take over the world.

Kill one person and your a murderer.
Kill a million and your a hero.
